Chapter 4: New Beginnings.

"Is this the last box?" Idina said as she set a box full of clothes in her living room.
"Yup. That should be it." he said plopping down on the sofa.
Idina sat on the other side of the couch, and they sat in awkward silence for a while.
"So..." James stated awkwardly.
"Um. The bathrooms down that hall, and I'll sleep on the couch. You can have the bed." she said and awkwardly stands not making eye contact.
"No no. I'm taking the couch." he says as he grabs her hand, pulling her back down right next to him.
Idina looks into his eyes, while James pushes her hair behind her ear. Idina's cheeks turn pink then she leans in and kisses him softly. James smiles through the kiss and grabs her waist, pulling her closer. Idina wraps her arms around his neck, then climbs into his lap, deepening the kiss. They keep kissing then they are interrupted by a knock at the door. Idina pulls away, a little disappointed.
"I'm so sorry, I'll just see who it is." Idina walks to the door and opens it to see her drunken ex husband standing in the doorway.
