Chapter 6: Another Day

Idina POV:

I woke up to the sound of heart monitors and an aroma of anticipation. My eyes opened and glazed over to my arms which were punctured with tubes. Many tubes. I slowly sat up and realized that my body was surrounded by plastic tubes and bandages.
"Oh good, you're awake." a man said walking in, with a clipboard.
"W-What happened?" I spoke weakly.
"Well, you were found unconcious with a bloody nose in your apartment. Many other events occurred after, but that can wait." he said standing by my bed.
"So how long have I been out?" I slurred.
"Approximately 3 days." the doctor responded.
"3 DAYS?!" I shouted, trying to escape.
"No no. Everything is under control, you need rest." The doctor says as he grabs my arm and lays me down on the bed. I relaxed and fell into a deep sleep.

James POV:

78 hours. That is how long I have been sitting in the wooden chair waiting to see her. After Idina passed out, I was put in handcuffs and taken to the police station to answer some questions. I surprisingly got out quick because of Taye's sketchy track record. So they caught him and locked him up for at least 2 years....something I need to explain to Idina.
The doctor walked in my direction and I looked up from my daze.
"Hello, sir. Your wife is ready to see you now." The Doctor spoke.
"Wife?" I questioned blushing at the thought. I mean...I like the sound of that but I guess it was just a mistake. I stood up from my wooden chair and made my way to Idina's room.

Idina POV:

The nurse just checked up on me after I woke up from a nap. I saw a figure with dark hair standing in the doorway.
"Knock, knock." He said stepping inside smiling.
"James." I said with a grin.
"Hey beautiful." James spoke walking over to sit on my bed. I giggled at his compliment. He kissed my forehead gently and brushed my cheek with his fingers lightly.
"How are you feeling?" He said, keeping a smile on his face.
"Better." I said returning the smile. We sat in silence for a while then I finally looked up at him with a smirk. "So beautiful.......really?" I chuckled.
"Well yeah, why don't you see that you're beautiful?" He replied kissing my ear.
"Stunning." He said kissing my cheek.
"Perfect." He said kissing my nose. He stops at my lips while I place a finger on his.
"Slow down, Snyder." I said looking into his eyes.
"We're not an official couple and we haven't even been on any dates. I don't want the media thinking this is some...scandal." I spit out, then bit my lip waiting for a response.
"You know what? You're right." He said grabbing my hands.
"So how about tomorrow night, You. Me. Schmackary's. 7pm. Sound good?" He said smiling.
"Sounds perfect." I responded, crashing my lips onto his and kissing him passionately. He kissed back passionately, a little surprised at my attack. I laid down on the hospital bed, pulling him down with me. Before the Tonys, I would've never imagined this happening, now everything is new and I'm ready to embrace it. We continued the kiss with occasional moans, not being able to stop, which is totally fine. Damn. Just as I was about to get rougher, a tiny figure toddled into the room.
"Mama?" A small voice spoke.
