Reality had started again. But there was one thing different.
My hair was pulled back into a bun with a red ribbon, and a black-rimmed red sash was on my waist, my yo-yo held at the tie. There was black from my hand to right below my shoulders, and from my ankles to my knees. The rest of the suit was its normal red with black spots.
"Whoa..."
I started running to go get Darkifyer when I suddenly lifted into the air! I crashed into a wall.
I looked around to see who had thrown me, but no one was there. In my deep thought, it took me a moment to realize I was floating.
"Whooooaaaaaaaa!!!!!!" I shouted.
I can fly?!?!?
Apparently, flying was one of my new powers.
"This is so crazy..." I whispered, "I can't belie-WHAT THE?!" I cut off my own sentence with a beam of red light shooting from my hand.
"Ohhhhhhhhkkkkaaayyy so that happens now...All right, lets go."
I lifted in the air, trying to control it by leaning. I was doing pretty good!
"Hey, Dorkifyer!" I called.
"Awww just like your kitty cat!" She fawned, "Next time be a smart little bug and come up with your own!"
"Ok, Darkiflying Geek!" I answered, willing myself to be confident.
"Ugh, you little insect, you'll regret that!" Her eyes began glowing intensely again, but I knew I had to stop her before she charges up for another blast or Adrien would be done for.
I closed my eyes and began to focus on my energy. Looks like I could make my eyes glow too. I charged up much quicker and shot her down with a concentrated beacon of red light.
"That's new," Jade Turtle shouted.
"I know!" I responded, landing, "I think I upgraded!"
"Look out!" Accalia called.
A giant piece of a building was hurtling at my head. I blasted it into bits and flew back into the sky. Darkifyer began warming up for another shot.
"Her necklace, Ladybug!" Volpina cried, "Her necklace!"
She was right. Every time she started charging a blast, the necklace glowed too. I knew what to do.
I snatched a tree branch, which turned black and red, and sharpened it with a laser blast. I landed on the top of a building and crouched down.
"Here goes nothing," I whispered.
Taking a deep breath, I closed one eye and aimed. Then, with a boost of crimson energy, the stick went shooting down below.
CRACK!
Smack in the center of her necklace. I dove down to catch the akuma and prepared to put everything back to normal. I reached up to take the rhinestones out so I could restore everything, but they wouldn't budge.
The branch, Marinette, Someone said, the branch.
I tried the branch instead, and it worked! It luckily took Chat out of the side of the building. I didn't know if restoring would help him with the injury, but he seemed all right.
"Whew," I sighed.
That was insane.
