Y/n's POV
I woke up in my room but this time it wasn't so pink, it was blue and black. I like it better this way. I look at my alarm clock on my nightstand and it's 10 a.m., Wait a minute, how did I get home last night, Dark must have carried me out of the mall. I got out of my bed and walked downstairs to get some water. I walked into the kitchen and Sean was there. "Good morning" Sean said in his cheery voice, "morning" I said get a glass of water. "Are ya hungry?" He asked "No" I said quickly. You finished your water, put your cup in the sink, and went to get dressed.(what you wore is up top) when you were ready you ran downstairs and walked into Mark, you knocked both of you down. "Sorry" You said to Mark. "That's alright, but where are you going in such a hurry?" Mark asked "I'm going for a walk" I said, "Okay" Mark said "but be back by lunch", "Okay" you said running out the front door and into the forest near the house. I let tail my tail out and took off my hat, then I flew up and just flew around the forest. That's when I heard someone or something coming.
Dark's POV
I saw Mark coming up the stairs, "Have you seen Y/n? she's not in her bedroom!" I asked him worried about her.
"Chill out Dark, she just went on a walk." Mark said calmly. "Did she go into the forest?!" I asked now really worried. "I think so." Mark said. With that I ran out the door into the forest.
Y/n POV
When I heard someone coming I flew up in a tree hoping the didn't see me, when I looked down I saw.... Dark? Why was he out here? Was he looking for me? My ears and tail! Where's my hat? Oh shit, its in my bag on the ground! I forgot to bring it up in the tree with me! I can't just show him.... What am I going to do? Then he noticed I was in the tree, "Y/n get down here now!" He said angrily "Well shit" I said aloud. I jumped out of the tree, from high up and into a bush, "are you okay? And get out of the bush!" Dark said "throw me my bag" I said trying to keep my ears hidden "why?" He asked obviously confused "just pass it to me" I said. Then he walked over and pulled me out of the bush. The look on his face was full of shock, and with that I pulled away from him, grabbed my bag and ran out of the forest while tucking my tail in my shirt and hiding my ears in my hat. Once out of the forest I ran into town trying to get as far from the house as possible, because I knew that after that they would bring me back to the orphanage, like my other parents. I made it all the way into the middle of town before I had to stop to catch my breath, I was really thirsty, I did have some money on me, I should get something to eat, I walked into a nearby diner. I was seated, unluckily for me Wilford was in the next booth over. "Y/n?" I took that moment to run out of the restaurant. But I could hear Wilford running after me. "Y/n, Please Wait." He yelled to me while chasing me, but I didn't respond. I just kept running and running and running. Until I reached a dead end. And Wilford caught up to me. "We're going home and talking about this!" He said in a tired and frustrated voice. He grabbed my hand and in a puff of pink smoke we were back home. Once we were there I pulled away from him and ran up to my bedroom and locked the door.....
Why did they pick me?
Why not a normal kid?
Why a freak like me?
Why are they pretending to care?
