luke hated the first of april. every single person he knew always tried to prank him, and he always fell for it. he despised his trusting personality.
this year, though, he decided that it would all be different. he would no longer believe any of his friends. so when michael said that elle was sitting in his room naked and waiting for him, he'd just give him the finger.
the one person he definitely needed to stay away from was elle. april fool's day was her favorite day of the year. all she liked to do was prank and she was even better than michael. and there was no other person she liked to prank more than luke.
luke was deeply entrenched in work when he heard a cheerful, "good morning, lukey!" from across the library. he froze, eyes wide, as he peeked above the computer he was working on. he and elle were partners for an english project and he had specifically visited the school's library at five in the morning just so he wouldn't see her. but she either had the same idea or she knew him better than he thought she did.
he set down his pencil and stood up, looking at the quite unwelcome girl. "uh, how'd you know i was here?"
she slid into her desk chair and started organizing some of his paperwork, "i just guessed. and we have to work on this project together, lukey. i'm not gonna let you get all the bonus points."
he gulped. "i-i wasn't trying to get all the bonus points, i just absolutely, under no circumstances wanted to see you today." her face dropped in hurt and luke shook his head. "no, no! not like that! i only didn't want to see you today because i don't want to get pranked this year. and all you love to do it prank me on april fool's day."
elle just giggled, "oh, that. you can't be serious."
"serious as a heart attack. i don't want you here today."
she looked up from her computer, pouting her lips. "why not?"
"because it's april first. i don't want to be anywhere near you today. i've seen the pranks you come up with on a regular basis. but today? today, i fear you." he shuddered.
she just arched an eyebrow and shook her head. "i'm not doing april fool's day this year. fear me the other days of the year, today's the one day you're safe from my trickery."
luke narrowed his eyes. "wait, so you're trying to tell me that you, elle the master prankster, isn't going to participate in the very holiday that is based on pranking?"
"nope." she shrugged.
"i don't believe you."
"fine, you don't have to. just let me finish my part of the project and i'll go home, watch some netflix and you can breathe easy."
luke hesitantly sat back down and picked up his work again.
usually, he loved studying and working with elle. she was hilarious, incredibly smart and always kept him on his toes.
not to mention she was gorgeous. he'd had dreams about those curves, about getting a handful of those breasts or that ass. imagined all the things he'd like her to do with those full lips of hers. how he was so close to doing those things one week ago but his mother interrupted.
