The whole cast had the day off for the Fourth of July. We'd all decided to spend it together. We rode out in a studio van with the cast and crew to a huge field for a picnic and fireworks. Despite working together on the same set we didn't all get to hang out all together too often. This was a good chance to catch up with everyone and just regroup.

I'd been spending the majority of the day with the kiddos since they were the people I got to see the least, and I can honestly say that I'd missed them. I was laughing ten times more than I would on an average day, which is actually a lot. After a while, however, I did let the kids do their own thing and I went to hang out with the older cast. It was kind of hard not to be super affectionate with Dacre, but it would be a lot harder to face the public scrutiny that may come with other people knowing about our relationship.

"Okay, 'teens,'" Natalia smiled, "we're going highschool on this and playing a nice little game of truth or dare." she got an empty soda bottle and set it on the blanket beneath all of us. "Who's going first?"

"I'll go," Joe said cheerfully, he spun the bottle and it landed on Charlie, "Okay, Charles. Truth or dare?"

"Truth," Charlie sighed, not seeming too content with having to play the game.

"If you weren't dating Natalia, would you date Dacre or me?" Joe asked smugly, like he already knew the answer.

"Dacre," Charlie said, "He's less annoying."

"Ha! Take that Keery," Dacre exclaimed. The smug look disappeared off of Joe's face and he looked very offended.

"It's because he's foreign like you, isn't it," Joe asked, making us all laugh.

"I already answered that," Charlie laughed, "My turn!" He spun the bottle and it landed on Ellie. "Elenore, truth or dare?" he asked.

"Dare," she answered confidently.

"Brave," he smirked, "Call whoever you're talking to at the moment, tell them you like them and ask them to be your boyfriend."

"Charlie-" she began, trying to explain something I already knew. She however, was cut off by Charlie.

"A dare is a dare," Joe broke in, "Oh and put it on speaker." She rolled her eyes and picked up her phone and dialed Niall's number. It rang a few times before he answered.

"Hey, El," he said cheerfully, "what's up."

"Hi Niall, I have something I need to tell you," she said, a small smile appearing on her face.

"What is it?" he laughed, "should I be worried?"

"I really like you," she said, I was fighting hard to stop the laughter that I felt coming.

"What?" he laughed again.

"I said I really like you," she giggled.

"Well I would sure hope so," he said, you could hear his smile through the phone, "I mean you are my girlfriend."

"Oh come on!" Charlie exclaimed, "That's not fair!"

"Hello?" Niall asked through the speaker, "Ellie?"

"I'll call you later, babe," Ellie said before hanging up and starting to laugh. "I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen!"

"What is it with you two and dudes in boybands?" Natalia laughed referring to Ellie and I.

"Ava isn't into boyband members," Dacre broke in.

"Someone's jealous," Joe singsonged, making us all laugh and Dacre blush, "Aww he is jealous!"
