Chapter-2

Next day both came down for breakfast, but were little awkward and avoided any contact. But while eating both of them were silently stealing glances of each other. Akshara noticed this and suspected of something happening between the two. They left for college.

The drive was silent. Naksh didn't want this to get out of hand and so he started the conversation.

Naksh: Today we have to submit our assignment right?? Have you finished he asked. Getting a confusing look from her he mentally cursed himself for behaving so silly.

She smiled seeing his cute antics, Yeah its done she said.

They went and attended their classes. During the break time, she went to the canteen but there was nobody there and only aditya was standing along with his friends. She got scared.

Keerti: Where are the others?? Why is nobody seen?? She asked as her voice shivered.

They were all laughing wickedly, Oh come on baby today you are only mine and let me see who's going to save you. saying he started coming closer to her. She was about to run but they all surrounded her and aditya pulled off her chunni. She was crying and pleading to let her go. He held her from her hair, she screamed in pain. Suddenly he fell to the ground with one blow on his head by someone from the back. Keerti opened her eyes and saw naksh. She ran to him and hugged him. He hugged her caressing her head, and then he thrashed all of them. And aditya's condition was the worst among all of them. He was profusely bleeding with wounds all over. They ran away from there seeing naksh rage so badly.

He went to her and hugged her. She was sobbing in his chest. Sh..hh keerti nothing happened. I am there na. He said slowly brushing her hair. He kissed her head and was consoling her. They broke the hug. He held her face in his hand, wiping her tears off, As long as i am there, I promise, nobody can harm you. He said. This promise really touched her. He went and brought her chunni and gave it to her. Both of them went back to their classes.

Naksh was constantly thinking about the incident,and his reaction. Why did i react like this?? Why did i beat him up so badly?? He had to go to the hospital. Why was i out of my senses seeing her hurt??Keerti what magic have you done?? I always keep thinking about you. He was smiling as he lovingly adored how innocent she was looking as she was busy in the class.

They were on their way back home.

Keerti: Naksh, what ever happened here its better we don't tell it to anyone at home.

Naksh: But why?? Its ok it was not your fault. They'll surely understand.

Keerti: I know they will and also they'll get worried as to what aditya can do again.

Naksh: ok. They both drove home.

At home, every one was worried. As soon as they went akshara came and hugged keerti.

Akshara: Keerti, are you fine??? she was confused. Then kartik went and hugged naksh.

Kartik: Thank you. Thank you so much naksh for saving my sister otherwise that bloody bastard... I don't know what he would have done.

Naksh: Wait.. but how did you come to know of this??

Akshara: Duggu, your principal called and told us everything. Also aditya's mom spoke to me and said sorry on his behalf.  

Keerti: Maa, don't worry i am fine. Naksh came at the right time.

After dinner, he saw keerti helping akshara in the kitchen. He stood there folding his hands to his chest and smilingly was just staring at her. He didn't realize, when naitik came and stood beside him.

Naitik: Ahem.. Ahem... He cleared his throat, which brought naksh back to his senses.

Naksh: He was shocked seeing him there, Papa... wo.. i.. I came to have water, he stammered.

He went inside took a water bottle and went from there. Akshara asked keerti also to go to her room and take rest. 

Naitik: Something has happened to your son, akshara.

Akshara: Ha, i know. Both of them laughed, as they knew what it was.

In naksh's room,

He stood before the mirror, to his surprise he saw keerti standing behind him. He turned round but she was not there. He realized he was dreaming about her. Naksh, you love her man!! Yes you love her. He was literally dancing about in excitement. His first love. Keerti, I love you. But how do i tell this to you. And how will she react?? He was scared. Keeping away all his fears, he decided to sleep happily only knowing he loves her. From tomorrow mission keerti will begin. And come what may, miss keerti goenks you'll hve to be mine and only mine.
