His realization didn't let him sleep. It was a totally new experience for him. Something new yet so fresh, calming yet so disturbing, but he was loving this new self of his. And deep inside his heart he was wanting to see keerti badly. Just that one glimpse of her innocent and smiling face would calm him. Otherwise he was not going to sleep that night, he understood. He made his way to her room. He saw akshara coming that way.He tried to run away but unfortunately she saw him.

Akshara: Duggu?? She called..

Naksh: Ji mumma. 

Akshara: Beta you haven't slept yet?? and where are you going??

Naksh: Maa, wo.. just like that. I was not able to sleep so i came out for air.

Akshara: Beta, but tomorrow you have to go to college right?? Got to bed early. she said and kissed him on his forehead. She left. 

Naksh hurried to her room, before anyone could notice him again. To his surprise the door wasn't locked from inside. He opened the door and silently sneaked in. He just stood love struck there itself. Seeing her sleep so peacefully and as innocently as a kid. He went beside her gently brushing her hair. He felt so many butterflies running all over him. He just wanted to hold his precious treasure in him for all his life. 

His smile vanished when his gaze fell on the photo she was actually hugging while sleeping, that of her mom and dad. Tears welled up in his eyes. He recollected what she had told him, how her own dadi refused to accept her. He just kissed her on her fore head, covered her blanket properly and left.

He went back to his room. He was sitting on his bed and thinking of how to help her overcome all that had happened with her. He didn't know how but he wanted her to be lively and happy. Thinking of her he dozed off.

In the morning they left for college. Everyone was looking at her weirdly. News of aditya's deeds had spread in the whole college. Keerti really could not understand what was happening and so could  naksh. She went to her best friend Kiran and asked her why everyone was looking at her so differently. 

Kiran: Keerti, she hugged her, having tears in her eyes.

Keerti: Kiran, what happened??

Kiran: Keerti, please don't panic. Everything will be fine ok. She said and hugged her again.

Naksh: Kiran will you please explain what exactly has happened.

Kiran: Wo.. Aditya had been here and when asked about why he was beaten up, he said that keerti was behind him since long for his property and asking him for marriage and when rejected, she got him beaten up. Also that you were with her all this while supporting her because you two have an affair.

Keerti was shattered hearing all this. How could he stoop so low?? Naksh lost it. He wanted to bash him thoroughly. But just then the peon came and informed them that they were called by the principal. Keerti was hell scared and totally confused about what was happening around her. Naksh held her hand assuring her he was there with her and not to worry. They went to the principal room. Aditya was already there giving them a wicked smile. 

Principal: Keerti what is all this? Is what Mr. Aditya saying true?? I need an explanation right now. 

Keerti was totally in shock, she could hardly speak. He couldn't see her in this state.

Naksh: Sir this is not true. He tried to harass keerti yesterday and when i smashed him and his friends he has come up with this story.

Principal: How should i trust you Mr.Singhaniya?? They tried explaining but he was not ready to listen to them at all. Naksh remembered how aditya's mother had called akshara and apologized.

Naksh: Sir if you want you can ask aditya's mom about what had actually happened. She even called my mom an apologized on his behalf yesterday. 

Principal somehow seemed convinced and called up his mom. She told him what had happened and that what naksh was saying is true.

Principal: Mr. Aditya, what is this?? I didn't expect you to do this. You've been suspended for 6 months from now. For lying and also for misbehaving with keerti. He was mad at naksh for doing this to him. Sorry Ms. Keerti inspite of knowing what you are saying all this was not right. 

Keerti: Please don't say sorry sir. she somehow managed to speak.

They left the room. Keerti just went and sat down on a bench nearby. Naksh sat down beside her and kept his hand on hers assuring her. All the support she needed. She rested her head on his chest and cried her heart out, while her hand was still in his.

Tears trickled down naksh's cheeks. He gently brushed her hair asking her to stop crying. Why is she like this?? So innocent and soft at heart that anyone can come and hurt her for no fault of hers. Her life as a kid was already miserable enough that she actually didn't deserve anything else. All his thoughts were disturbed as he felt everything become silent all of a sudden. He saw keerti had lost consciousness. His heart beat stopped for a second. Although there was sheer silence on the outside it was a total chaos within him.

Keerti!! Keerti!! The only words that slipped off his mouth as he shook her while still holding her safely in his arms. Coming back to his senses he immediately carried her in his arms and drove to the hospital.

He informed naitik, akshara and kartik as well and asked them to come to the hospital. His heart ached seeing her like that. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Naitik and others arrived and enquired about what happened. He narrated the whole incident. Kartik lost his temper hearing all this. Naksh just hugged him assuring him all is going to be well, they were joined by naitik soon.
