Who Am I Now?

Chapter 1

I was frozen I couldn't tell you which way was up and which way was down. I just couldn't believe the words that had just escaped from my aunt's mouth. You see I'm not your average teenage girl my name is Sammy Spark and I'm a vampire. Now forget what you've heard about us because most of it's probably a lie. Yes we can have children no we don't have to feed on humans (I just like to), yes we have feelings like everyone else and no our eyes don't become red after we eat. The only difference between us and humans is that we are faster stronger and immortal, therefore better in every way. I love being a vampire. That's why what my aunt just said rocked my whole world upside down. You see I was just getting home from one of my little meetings with my coven whatever you want to call it when....

**Flashback:** 

"Hey guys what's up?" I called out as I was walking towards James, Blake, Natalie, Emma, and Kayden. They all looked up at me, smiled and said hey back. James and Blake were twins although you would have never guessed it because they look so different James has brown short hair with brown eyes and he's really big and buff while Blake has blond hair that reaches down to his clear green eyes and is more on the skinny then buff side. Natalie was James' mate (she's also my best friend) and she has long bright red hair that reaches down to her hips and piercing hazel/green eyes. Emma has shoulder length blond hair with amazing blue eyes, she also happens to be Blake mate. It helped that James and Blake were a year older then us considering how guys are able to find their mate at the age of 18, girls would know at any age the moment their mate kisses them. And last but not least was Kayden, he has gorgeous blue eyes and chocolate brown hair that falls beautifully on his forehead and just barely reaches his eyes. Now don't be fooled he's what you call Mr. Moody. You never know if he's going to be nice to your or yell at you, it varies from day to day. 

Anyway as I walked up I wondering why they were smiling so much, it was starting to freak me out. Then I realized the cause of it, there was a note from one of the other "gang" leaders and he was warning us not to go into his territory. You see gang leaders tended to be some of the only humans that actually knew of our existence, yet they still challenged us. God humans are so predictable. He just basically showed us that he's scared shitless of us. Seriously might as well write a sign saying "Hey I'm right here please come and kill me." But anyway he wanted to meet today 12am in the forest that separates our territories. It wasn't really a suggestion it was more like a command. Now usually I hate being told what to do but this time I really didn't care because to me it was his death wish. You see all of us have a reason for hating humans. Mine was that when I was 2 my parents were killed by vampire hunters. James and Blake were forced to move away from their home because some humans found out what they were and tried to hunt them down. Natalie was beaten by her abusive ex boyfriend when James found her and changed her to save her life. Emma was simply born into a family that hates humans so she just grew up hating them. Kayden was the worst though he had to watch his mom and dad be murdered right in front of him when he was just 13 and shortly after that his little sister ran away and he still till this day has not found her.

**a few hours later**

It was now 12am and we were standing in a clearing deep in the forest. We had chosen to be this deep in the forest so no one will hear them scream. As we waited patiently they slowly started to emerge from the other side of the clearing. There were about 15 of them. I couldn't help but laugh at their confident and cocky faces.  

I being the co leader took a step forward and gave them the rules to our little game.  

"Now this is how this is going to work, we will give you 5 minutes to run as fast as you can and get away. If you reach the town then you will be left alive and no one will harm you but if you don't then I'm pretty sure we all know what that means" but just in case some of those stupid idiots didn't understand I added  "you will die."
