I didn't see Honey for the rest of the day. "Shay why the fuck you ignoring me? " Desean exclaimes as he shut my locker looking at me with annoyance. 

I knew ignoring him would get under his skin just like him looking at other females when I'm by him. I looked at him still ignoring him. "Sup Y'all. " We both turned to Tristan. "Y'all seen Honey? "

"No-"

"Have you talked to her? " I shook my head No. "Well when you talk to her tell her to call me." I nodded and watched him go flirt with Brianna.

"Shay! " I looked at Desean annoyed.  "Why the fuck you ignoring-" Before he could finish I walked off with him yelling after me.

It was about 6:30 when I decided to go check on Honey.I pulled up at Honey house and hopped out my car. I knocked on the door. Her Mom answered.  "Hey Shay." She smiled at me.

"Hey,  Is Honey here? " She looked at me confused.

"She isn't with you? " I shook my head.

"Did she tell you she was? "

"No,  I just assumed she was. Is she with Tristan? " I shook my head.

"Did you call he-"

"Shay? " Honey looked at me confused. "What you doing here? "

"Looking for you. " She looked at her Mom who was looking at her confused.

"Where were you ?" Her Mom asks.

"Nowhere." She walked past her Mom and headed upstairs. I followed behind her. We walked in her room and I closed the door.

"What's wrong? " I asks. She shook her head. "Don't lie to me." She took a deep breath.

"What you thinks wrong? " She looked at me leaning on her dresser raising her eyebrow. 

"Well I saw Yvette all on Marcus today and he wasn't pushing her off either. " Honey just shrugged and looked down. "Then I saw Tristan flirting with Bri and I saw your facial expression change." She looked at me then looked back down. "You starting to like him again huh? "

"I saw Marcus fucking Yvette today and I wasn't upset that I seen my Boyfriend fucking another female No , I got upset because my Bestfriend was flirting with a new girl. " She blew out a fustrated breath. "I'm falling for him again. "

I looked at her with sad eyes when her eyes started to fill with tears. "Hone-"

"I'm scared to like Tristan,  he rejected me before and now.." She trailed off shutting her eyes closed tight. "He's falling for someone else and I'm gonna be single while in love with my Bestfriend and watching him fall in love with someone else." A tear fell out her eyes and I pulled her in for a hug.

"It's okay Honey,  You know Tris will always have some kind of feelings for yo-" A loud crash came from downstairs.  We both jumped and looked at eachother. We both left out her room and went downstairs to see Honey's Mom on th's ground crying with Glass everywhere along with her phone right beside her.

"Mom? " Her Mom looked at Honey and cried more.  "Mom what's wrong? " Honey touched her Mom's shoulder. 

"I'm sorry Hannah but your D-D-Dad got shot while coming home from work. He didn't make it baby. " I covered my mouth with my hand. I looked at Honey who was frozen in place. 

"No. " She spoke softly. "No." She got louder.  She cried into her Mother's arm. I never seen someone go through so much in one day.

~The Next Morning ~

I walked through the school doors with Honey still on my mind. I left after after she calmed down and stopped crying. I Still can't believe that happened. She's not gonna come to school for the rest of the week. I walked to my locker and opened it. "You talk to Honey? " I looked at Tristan and my whole nodded changed.

"Shay? " I looked at Desean and rolled my eyes and looked back at Tristan. The whole clique came but I never tore my eyes away from Tristan. 

"Did you Shay? "

"Yeah I did, you would know that if you wasn't to busy flirting with Brianna. " On cue she walked up. 

"I heard my name." She smiled. 

I looked at her than back at Tristan. "Honey was missing the whole school day and you just asked about her everytime you seen me which was rarely and Then you forgot about her and started flirting with Brianna."

"I thought Marcus-"

"Marcus? Yeah See if you would have checked on your 'Bestfriend' you would know she found him fucking the whore of the school yesterday. "

"What?-"

"Yeah, Your suppose to be her 'Bestfriend ' but Where were you Tristan? Flirting with New girl. " I looked at her then back at Tristan.

"What do you want me to do? I didnt know. She wasn't answering my calls or texts so how was I suppose to know? " He got loud. Everybody in our clique was staring at us even some people who was standing near by was looking.

"If she was your Bestfriend and if you actually cared you would know that she just caught her boyfriend cheating on her. That her Dad just got shot coming home from work and died. " Everybody faces dropped and went shocked.  "And you would know she's feeling like she's losing you. " I fixed my bag over my shoulder.  "Bye Tristan. " I pushed past them.
