"Sasuke! Naruto! Ren!" I hear Sakura shout. "Take this guy out! You can do it!"
"Don't Sakura." Kakashi says carefully, fear in his tone. "Don't push them. Even if they somehow found a way to over come the mirror jutsu, they still couldn't defeat this ninja."
"How could you be so sure?" She asks.
Zabuza begins to laugh. "They have the desire to win, but they don't have the instinct to kill. That boy is a whole other breed. He lives for pain, he thrives on it." Kakashi explains.
"Exactly." Zabuza hums. "Your village has become complacent. Your trainees never learned the most importantly lesson of all. To kill the feelings in their own hearts, to crush an opponent mercilessly. To destroy with no emotion or regret."
"But... But then Sensei! What are we gonna do!?" Sakura yelps. "Please, tell us!"

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto shouts.
Sasuke got his kunai ready as I breathed out a heavy breath, a slight mist forming. Naruto tried again. "There!" I shout, flinging up water. We were being pelted by senbon a second later, but I think Sasuke caught it. "Naruto! Do you think you can do that one more time?" I ask through grit teeth.
"Of course! Nothing can stop me! Believe it!" Naruto shouted. I smiled gratefully, but I knew he was just as exhausted as Sasuke and I were. He tried again, and I thought it might work, but we were pelted again. I flew back, feeling my world slip in and out of focus. Everything darkened.

Snow drifted down from the heavens as I stood besides my mother, gazing up in fear at the scary men in front of us. "What do you want?" Mother spat, pulling me behind her. I gazed around her leg, shaking like a leaf.
"What do you think? We're all tired of living in fear that that child might kill us all. We should just end it already." The taller man snarled at her, holding up a knife.
"And what makes you think that I'll allow that. Get out of here, before I do something I'll regret." She slammed the door in their faces, then turned and knelt down to me.
"Mother, why do they hate me?" I question, gazing up at her calm features.
"Because they fear what is special...." I cocked my head, giggling lightly as she nuzzled my forehead with her nose, sighing out in relief. "I won't let them hurt you. You're my special lotus." I smiled brightly at that. Out of all the hardships mother went through, her love for me never faltered. "Come on. Let's go eat something and get to bed, yeah?"
"I want Takoyaki!"
She chuckled lightly. "Again? You're going to get sick from all that octopus!"

The city streets were quiet as Mother and I trailed about them, heading home after getting some groceries. Mother stopped, grasping my hand tighter as three men jumped down from the roof tops, clothed in black attire. I backed up and hid behind my mothers leg, gazing at the men in fear. "Ren Yukimura, Jinchuriki of Ameonna. We're here to kill her. If you value your life, I suggest fleeing." The middle man said. I looked up at my mother, quaking all the way down to my feet as she glared. Water blasted out from underneath us and swirled around like a whirlpool.
"If you think for one second I'd ever abandon my daughter, well, then I should just kill you right now." She said in an even, menacing tone. The bag of groceries dropped to the ground. Several other men swarmed the street, holding up knives, chains, and all kinds of weapons. "I won't give up my precious lotus to anyone!" She screamed, going after them. I ducked down and covered my head in panic. My world muffled as the water formed a thick bubble around me, protecting me at all costs. The bubble soon turned red with blood, and it stuck to my skin and clothes. Men fell at an alarming rate. My mother fought tooth and nail against the assassins, showing no fear. All but three were left when it happened.
Whimpers left my lips as I watched the blade dig through her stomach and out the other end. She coughed, blood splattering downwards and onto ground. She raised her head and water shot up, freezing in an instant and slipping the man in two. I shrieked in terror and closed my hands over my ears as another man threw a thin needle, piercing into her throat. She grasped at it and fell to the ground, her body starting to seize. The water around me dropped as I stared in horror at the scene. Foam bubbled up and out of her mouth as she reached out to me, staring at me with pain in her eyes. "Ren.... Run!" She garbled, blood starting to ooze from her nose and eyes. I stood up as the two remaining men approached me.
'Will you take this torture? Or will you fight?' I hear a delicate voice echo out through my head. I breath out evenly, looking up at they ready their swords. 'I will fight....' A demonic chuckle echoed in my head as water shot up, twisting around the swords and tossing them away. 'Make them pay for what they did to Ayame. Make them bleed.'
I let out an animalistic scream, feeling a power swirl within me. Houses around me crumbled as the ground shook and broke apart. Water sloshed over the village, splitting the ground as I walked slowly towards the corpse of my mother. I held my hand out and a thick block of ice covered her from head to toe, preserving her while the rest of the village is destroyed. I kept walking, leaving the village as the screams of the villagers echoed out through the storming blizzard. I didn't blink as I trekked on, and I could still hear that chuckle in my head.
