1. The Agony in wanting to see you again

Authors Note:
None of the characters in this story belong to me. I've just borrowed them for a while to fulfil my fantasies. ;)  After watching the series I'm having major Withdrawal symptoms and can't get enough of Xia Yu Hao and Zi Xuan.

I couldn't find any good fanfic on this series, so I thought why not write it myself and recreate the chemistry between the lead couple once again :D

Xia Yu Hao couldn't thank the Gods above, enough. He still couldn't believe that Qiu Zi Xuan had accepted his feelings and reciprocated them in return. Was he just that lucky or did the Gods pity him and had compensated him for all the times that they hadn't come to his rescue.

His life wasn't that bad but it wasn't unicorns and rainbows either. He couldn't recall a time when he was this happy. From childhood he had to take care of himself, not that his mother hadn't. Infact his mother did care for him.

His father had left them when he was six years old, as a result his mother had to struggle to feed two mouths with a minimal wage. It was difficult to be a single parent while working and having to take care of a young Yu Hao.

As time passed he had to take care of himself because his mother wasn't around much. She had to take up two jobs in order to have a good income. He couldn't blame his mom, for he knew that everything that she did was for his sake. It was one of the reason why he had to take up a part time job at the 'X Club'. Of course he had to keep this a secret or his Mom would be saddened by the fact that he had to earn his own college fees. In doing so he wanted to lessen her burden of not worrying for his college funds. It was the least he could do for her. As a result, he had become an independent and responsible human being and he was proud of himself.

He was surprised when  Qiu Zi Xuan said that he would keep his part time job a secret from every one. Wouldn't it be easier for him to blackmail Yu Hao to join the volleyball team. Reflecting on this he knew for sure that Qiu Zi Xuan was something else. He had never met a person so righteous and full of himself. It was a wonder that he had fallen head over heels for this tall volleyball geek.

Xia Yu Hao smiled to himself as he hopped and skipped on his way to school. He was a bit nervous to meet  Qiu Zi Xuan after yesterday's confession but at the same time he was excited to see him again. If only he could have Qiu Zi Xuan to himself as every moment of his life ticked by. He would be the luckiest man on the planet if that happened. But he knew that the Gods weren't that gracious.

Xia Yu Hao fastened his step, he couldn't wait another minute without seeing Zi Xuan. He wanted to touch him again, gather him close in his arms or maybe, just maybe steal a kiss or two again. Just the thought of it had his insides melting with pleasure. He could feel his cheeks heating up. He chuckled as he shook his head.

"Xia Yu Hao" he turned his head as he heard someone calling out to him. It was Wang Zhen Wen. The younger brother waved at him as he came running.

"Hey mate!!! Where's your head at?" He asked as he put his arms around Yu Hao's shoulder. He was of course accompanied by his elder step brother Wang Zhen Wu. It was like buy one and get one free. They were inseparable.

Xia Yu Hao shook his head with a nervous laugh "Nothing, just thinking about this and that." He didn't want to get caught day dreaming about Qiu Zi Xuan.

"Why do I feel like you're hiding something from us." Wang Zhen wen remarked suspiciously. Yu Hao looked at Wang Zhen Wu "Do I?" The elder brother nodded, agreeing with his brother. "Hey, there's nothing to be suspicious about. It's just, I have a lot going around in my head." Yu Hao replied shrugging his shoulders. He didn't want to tell his friends about him and Qiu Zi Xuan, yet.
