With the victory of yesterday's match the boys' confidence level had skyrocketed. They were brimming with double the enthusiasm and vigour. As today was Sunday many of the players' parents could be seen in the gymnasium, eager to watch their child play.

Today's match was much more important for Yu Hao than yesterday's as his mom was going to be present too. Right now they were in the locker room, the coach was discussing something with Zi Xuan and the captain while the other team mates were busy with their own thing.

Yu Hao sat in one of the chair and looked around the room observing the people whom he had come to cherish in a such a short period of time. They were like a family now, united by a common goal and sharing a deep passion for volleyball. The sport had brought all of them together, strengthening the bond between them. For some, more so than the other's.

A smile lit his smooth features when his eyes fell upon the Wang brothers. Zhen Wu was seated on a bench and Zhen Wen had stooped to tie the elder brother's shoe lace that had come undone. The sudden affectionate action had taken the elder brother by surprise and he pulled back his leg, worry written all over his face. The elder boy felt uneasy whenever Zhen Wen took the initiative to care for him. As per Zhen Wu it should always be the elder one caring for the youngster not the other way around.

Not being one to back down Zhen Wen pulled the foot and continued with the task at hand. Even though Zhen Wen couldn't play volleyball he had joined the team hoping to gift back the sport to his elder brother. Wang Zhen Wu had blamed himself, thinking that it was due to his negligence that his younger brother had been kidnapped. So out of guilt he had given up his favourite sport and taken the time to bestow his care and attention on his little brother.

Watching them together now, the secret smiles being directed at each other, Yu Hao's heart filled with happiness for his buddies.

His eyes travelled to yet another couple in the team. Well, not a couple per se but at least close to being a couple if things went well.

Jia Jun opened the seal of the fruit drink that was offered to him by Jun Zhe. Just as he took a sip Jun said something and the short guy covered his mouth with the back of his hand to prevent the juice from spurting out. As a result his face turned red and he started coughing, making Jun Zhe fret over him like a mother hen. A minute later Jia Jun burst out in a hearty laugh and hit Jun Zhe playfully on the chest. Seeing that his friend was alright Jun Zhe joined in the laughter as well. It was apparent that Jun Zhe must have said something funny which had resulted in the coughing fiasco earlier.

One could see the affection these guys shared between them. He had to commend Jia Jun, the guy had genuinely surprised him. Yu Hao had thought that after Jun Zhe's confession their friendship would be scarred however that was not the case with these two.

Upon asking Jia Jun one day the guy had said that first and foremost they were friends. Secondly he knew how it felt to be in a one sided love so he had to be a little understanding of Jun Zhe. Knowing that his best friend loved him had been a shocker for sure but he didn't want that to come in between their long years of their friendship.

Jun Zhe was of the same opinion as well about their relationship. The tall guy had confided in him that for now they had let the matter slide and agreed to let it stay buried. He had simply didn't want to pressure Jia Jun in accepting his feelings for him and jeopardize their friendship. If in the near future circumstances were to change, they would confront it then.

As for him and Zi Xuan? Well, what could he say. They were in a different league all together and well ahead of the other couples. All thanks to the sport he had found his oh-so-beautiful other half and right now he was still deep in conversation with the coach.
