There was a black out,
And dark came to light.
No clouds or beams in sight.
I could finally see your refection in the back of my eye.
Then came the rain,
And I could see you again.
The world made mirrors just for you.
You are the candle that gave every star light.
You leave no trace of smoke.
Let's run.
Let the mirrors try to catch a glimpse of us.
The world vs the universe.
You know all my secrets through the palm of my hand,
And I intertwine them willingly because you are the best chance.
How was their ever dought that I love you.
Our names are the title,
Its a world just made for me a you.
Let the inferno come.
Well use our worlds tears to snuff out the flames.
I want to hear the pitter pat of mirrors shattering against this metal case.
I just want to look at the map contained in your eyes,
Your face.
Ive never had a friend like you.
You are so much more then that.
Between all the battered shoes and broken legs,
Stands two teen that are a little lost and afraid.
Let the land split us apart.
Let us run to the desert with nothing, but broken hearts.
I see the mirrors in your eyes.
I see the shards line your cheeks.
I see you and in no longer thirst.
Why was I ashamed?
Why was I ever ashamed?
"You love him", why in the world was I ever bewildered by the claim.
The hail, the street,
And the pounding of my feet were the first few things that told the world that my heart beats.
The poems, the painting, and a bird gave me all your words.
I remember the shards in your eyes and thinking that I would bleed to remove them,
I tried.
I've fought for your name.
Ive lived up to that claim.
That's when I heard you voice
I remember, I remember the first time I heard you speak.
It was a squeek.
You gave me an invitation to drown and I plunged in.
I'm afraid of nothing, but you.
I'm afraid of you.
Go on and pass bravery through lips.
No more wishing for rain.
No more drowinging.
No more lost.
No more secrets without hands.
No more douchebags.
No more running.
No more distance.
No more fighting.
Just the universe and its reflection in the back of my eye
And the stars that intertwined in at the heart.
We have the answers.
Our names will never be split apart.
