I decided I was going to take matters into my own hands. After struggling to sleep with yesterdays events running through my mind I decided to leave for school early to try and research more of my past. I was at the school during early hours and lucky for me the campus is open at all hours for our convenience. The library the academy has is extensive and full of the supernatural worlds history. I didn't know what to expect but I knew it was the best place to look for answers in my current state.

I walk through the aisles trying to find documents from 3000 years ago that contained information about royal vampire families. I found records on many famous families, they contained information of the family trees as well as their influence on the supernatural world and their involvement with the monster organisation that governs our world of shadows.

I was in there for hours trying to find anything on the Darling clan or even a mention of the massacre of my grandparents. Nothing. I tried looking for any mention of a powerful family that was hunted. Nothing. I even found information on vampire appearances, it contained information of features that belonged to certain families and even mentioned the rare black eyed vampire which has the ability to control darkness, an extremely rare ability. Yet still no mention of purple eyes.

I was stuck, with no information to help me understand my past. I leant back on the chair I was sitting on taking a deep breath of air while starring at the ceiling. I could feel a strong presence enter the room and it sent shivers down my spine, I froze in fear from the overwhelming power I felt approaching.

"Good morning red." I turn my head to see Hunter grinning at me.

I quickly closed the book I was reading, "how did you find me?"

"I followed your presence, you'd be able to do it if you drank proper blood instead of those pseudo tablets." He smirks at me.

He was the last person I wanted to see, but then I remembered him talking about his family having the largest collection of vampire history. That's when I come up with, what I think, is a brilliant idea.

"Right. Remember when you said your family had the largest collection of vampire history?" I ask with desperation in my voice.

"Interested in my knowledge are we red?" He continues to smirk probably thinking he's all high and mighty right now.

"It's Venus, not red. And yes I need answers."

"Well red, if I let you come to my clans territory to read our history then I think I deserve something in return."

"What do you want?" I roll my eyes.

"I want answers."

"What answers."

"I don't know yet but I'm sure I'll know after you've learnt more about those purple eyes of yours."

I felt like I was playing into his game, and while it frustrated me, my body didn't care. It was like I wanted to be apart of his game a pawn for him to use. It annoyed me that my mind hated the situation I was entering into but it knew I needed answers. Not only did my mind need answers but my body cried for them. I had ignored it most of my conversation but whenever I tried to focus my body wouldn't let me, it was being unreasonable and fighting against my mind. It lusted for the man standing in front of me and while I knew why from my parents and Elios' explanation, I still couldn't quiet comprehend the animalistic urges my body was feeling for a man I had only been with a total of 30 minutes.

He looked into my eyes as if he was trying to see through my contacts, my heart clenched in my chest as I gazed into his deep eyes. He chuckles and places a hand onto my chin pulling me towards him, I stand up following his lead. He brushes his lips across mine and I feel one of his fangs pull at my lip. I snapped my head away from his and look around the library trying to see if anyones around.
