Chapter 7-Sailed Ship and Protection

~~Gerard's P.O.V.~~
*the next day*
I was thinking about Frank when my train of thought was interrupted by the annoying voice of the son of Peter Pan. "So, what are the newbies like?" Ray looked up from his food. "They're quite cool but don't exactly act villainy." I nodded my head after he said that. "They just seem...different ." I turned to look at them thoughtfully until Mikey spoke up. "How about you two introduce us to them?" I ran my fingers through my hair "I only know Frank." Ray giggled after that. "I can introduce everyone.", he said and got up. "You guys coming?", he questioned and started walking to the new VKs table. We all got up and walked after him. I sat down on Frankie's right since there was a girl on his left, the others sat down as well. "Hey Sugar." I said towards Frank. He grinned at me. "Hey Gee." Ray waved at them. "Hey guys! These are my friends. This is Gerard" He pointed at me and I gave a sly grin. "Pete." He pointed at Pete who gave a mischievous grin. "And Mikey, Gerard's little brother." Mikey just waved. And then he started introducing the newbies. "This is Frank." I put my arm around him, still grinning. "Maude." she didn't even smile but did a two finger salute. "Dizzy." He pointed at the hyper girl who said "Hi!!" He then pointed at the girl with crazy curls beside Frank. "And this is Dhalia." She put on a smile. "Hi!" Jay, one of the first VKs to come to Auradon Prep, snuck up behind the girl Maude and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Did yah miss me?" Next thing I know, I'm being pulled away from the table as he was judo flipped by Maude. But Frank had tripped and we fell down. I landed on top of Frank but my arms held me up so I didn't fall on him. My hands were beside his head, so he couldn't exactly move. I looked into his hazel-green eyes... they're very pretty. My eyes flickered down to his soft, pink lips, i could feel his hot breath on my neck. Unconsciously, we both start to lean in.

~~Dhalia's P.O.V.~~

They were just about to kiss when the bell rang for our first hour class. Gerard and Frank looked like tomatoes from how much they were blushing. Gerard quickly got off of Frank, grabbed his backpack and then left. I hate that bell....my OTP was about to kiss! Frank was still lying on the the floor so I pulled him up. He was in this dazed mood so i went off to my first class which was art.
I didn't have it with anyone I knew so I just sat in the back corner of the class. The teacher started talking and I ignored most of what she said, but I did hear that we're working in groups of three. I didn't know anyone in the class so i just sat and drew on my hand. I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked up to see two people, a boy and a girl, who both had dark hair. "Do you wanna be our partner?" The boy said. I nodded. "Uh yeah, okay.." I bit my lip. "I'm Dhalia." The boy sat in the seat next to me. "I'm Brendon!" The girl smiled. "I'm Lyn-z." After introductions we started working on the project. Brendon and I got on really well! And he has a band!! I also told him where my dorm was so he can come and visit sometime. The bell rang so i packed up my stuff. "I'll see you later Brendon!" He smiled and waved. "Bye Dhalia!" I turned to Lyn-z who looked quite annoyed. "Hey, what's wrong?" She didn't answer but just pushed past me. I walked into my next class which was Remedial Goodness 101 and sat in the middle of the class since the back seats were all taken. I saw Lyn-z in the back talking with her friends so I gave her a friendly smile and waved, she just whispered to her friends and they laughed. I turned to the front of the class and just doodled on my paper. I heard Lyn-z and her friends whispering and I heard my name multiple times..I also heard a lot of not nice words....I tried ignoring them but the whispers got louder so i could hear them. "Dhalia is so annoying and she's a slut, I heard she was flirting with Ray but today she was flirting with Brendon." That was Lyn-z. "She sounds like such a freak, she should go slit her wrists." That was Lyn-z's friend. I looked down at my hands and quickly wiped my eyes. "Oh look she's a crybaby too." They started to laugh. Thankfully the bell rang for lunch so I was the first to leave the classroom. I made it to the cafeteria and sat with my head down. I felt someone sneak their hands around my waist but they felt familiar. "What's wrong, Hatter?", Maude spoke with concern. Awww she remembered my childhood nickname. "It's nothing really, Alice." I looked across the room. Lyn-z was giving me dirty looks and pointing at me while she was talking. Great. More people to point out my insecurities.

~~Maude's P.O.V.~~

I could tell something was up with Dhalia. I could sense it for some reason while I was in class. As soon as I walked into the lunchroom I saw her. She looked broken and depressed. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. "What's wrong, Hatter?" I always loved that nickname for her. It fit her perfectly. "It's nothing really, Alice." We used to call each other this when we were kids. That's how we got things out of each other but now it doesn't work so easily. I could tell she wanted to say something but was holding back. I sat next to her and laid my head on her shoulder. I glanced at her and saw her look at some girl across the room. Hey I know her. She's in my music class. Lyn-z if I'm not mistaken. Lyn-z is pointing at Dhalia and talking fast. This little rat is talking bad about Hatter isn't she? No wonder she's upset. I'll talk to her later. For now I'll focus on making Dhalia happy. "Hey, do you remember our old photo album? Come with me to look at the photos. I'm pretty sure I have embarrassing pictures of Frank and Dizzy." Dhalia pipes up at those words and smirks. "I'm in." We race out of the cafeteria back to our dorm.
