I take a deep breath, and follow Sheri down the staircase. I see the huge doors again in the front of the building I entered through earlier. The doors suddenly swing open. I see a familiar pair of light blue eyes, and emo-styled messy black hair with blue tips. A smile spreads across his face as our eyes meet. I'm so glad to see him. I speed up my descent down the stairs. He asks gleefully, "Hey, did you enjoy your pampering?" I rush up to him and hug him for some reason. He tenses up, then relaxes into my arms. Then he brings me closer into a tight bear hug. He lets me out to shoulder length. A goofy smile spreads across his face. Then he states, "Well, it is time for Cinderella to go to her princess." He is still wearing the same dark, beat-up leather jacket and holey skinny jeans he was wearing earlier. I wonder what he did for the hours I spent getting "pampered"? Where did he go?
Before I could internally question him more, he grabs my arms and starts pulling me outside. I follow along as fast as I can. He opens the limo door and practically shoves me in. The skirt of my dress poofs up as I sit down. I try to press it down with my hands. Usagi pokes his head in through the door and says, sounding a bit disappointed, "I wish I could come with you, but I can't. I got some stuff to do, things to take care of." He smiles sweetly at me. Then he slips a card into my hand. "You'll need this to get in. Show them this card when you get there." I flip the card over in my hand, studying it. It has a lunar blue rose emblem on it. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I turn to ask him, but I turn to a shut door. Hmmm, I guess he's in a hurry to get somewhere. I sigh, and the limo starts moving. I look down at the card again. It just doesn't look too important. What does the rose mean? I guess I'll just contemplate it till I get there. I sure hope this date goes well. I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness about the upcoming date. Usagi's mysterious gesture with the card adds to the intrigue of the evening, and I can't shake the feeling that there's more to this night than meets the eye. I take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts, and remind myself to just enjoy the moment. After all, I have a beautiful princess waiting for me at the end of this journey, and I can't wait to see where the night takes us.
