It has been two days, since my marriage got fixed, a sense responsibility homed inside my heart. A warmth feeling. And today would be Teeka ceremony. Shekhawats would come here for dastur, so from the day all functions decided, Both house were full of hustle bustle. Maasa has been hot on her heels, rechecking everything time to time as she says, 'Maahre dev ro biyaav hai, sagli cheeza sahi su honi chaije.'
(It's my dev's marriage, i want everything perfect)

Today i woke up little earlier than everyday and left for jog. After coming back, i went back to my room for freshening up.

After taking bath, as i moved out of bathroom and saw Maasa with a tray in her hand, was seated on bed and smiled at me.

"Good morning maasa", I touched her feet, receiving a kiss on head and smiled, taking seat beside her. Maasa forwarded cup of tea, and i took cup gladly.

"I have taken out clothes which you have to wear for ceremony, so now hurry up and get ready, they will be here in an hour or so", Maasa informed me, and left the room saying that she has some work to do. I shook my head, mothers never rest.

After finishing my tea and breakfast, i took dishes in kitchen. While moving back toward my room, suddenly i stopped on my track as i saw something unusual. I smirked mentally and said, "Aaj suraj west se rise hua hai mere khayal se."

Randeep looked at me, and rolled his eyes before sticking out his tongue in front of me. I laughed in response and patted his shoulder, encouraging him to continue his work.

I entered my room and took rajputi attire and changed in it. Hunting shirt and brijesh pant. It kinda look royal. I adjusted my scarf around my neck, when i heard knock on door. I turned and walked toward and opened it, Babasa smiled at him and showed me safa in his hands.

"Aaiye aapko safa pehna dei hum", He warmly said, and i sat on sofa when he unwrapped the safa and start wrapping in on my head. After ten minutes, he asked me to look into mirror if safa looked good or not. I glanced at myself through mirror, indeed safa looked good. I thanked babasa and he left after patting my back. I wore gold chain and my wrist watch as it was my habit to wear watch. I decided to wear marwari jootis' indeed of loafers.

After sometime i reached hall, and greeted shekhawats, my in laws. All sat and chatted, when my father in law said, "Hukum let's start rasam."

I was sat on bajoot, when Taashi's father came forward when thaal in his hand. He did my tilak first with kumkum and forwarded engagement ring and made me wear it and gave me coconut with some money as shagun. I touched his feet and he blessed me. Taashi's kakosa came forward and did the same thing, and gift me a watch and blessed me as i took his blessings. Maan banna gifted me a platinum chain and hand shake with me.

After sometime, when they took permission to leave, babasa tried to stop them for lunch but they refused saying now we are relatives and there is not need of any formality, they were getting late.
