I wore red poshak little less heavier than my wedding dress. Maasa brought this for me as per tradition. Today is karwachauth, so maasa told me to get ready like bride.

I woke up early and did some house chaos and called maasa. Maasa instructed me how to do Chauth Mata's puja, how to prepare puja's thaal and other ingredients. I am so excited as it's my first karwachauth.

We, rajputs don't do karwachauth's fast before marriage.

I have seen maasa and kakisa hukum doing fast from years. How they stay empty stomach all day, even kakisa doesn't drink water on karwachauth.

I asked maasa (Devyansh's Maasa) if i have to do fast like kakisa does. But Maasa refused saying that it's not necessary.

Today i took holiday from office as Devyansh restricted me to come office because i am fasting today. Office workload will drain my energy more. I did rolled my eyes over his statement.

I wore earrings when two arms snaked around my waist, smelling my hairs as i hadn't covered my head with odhani.

"What", i asked.

"Someone is looking dead drop gorgeous today", he whistled.

I blushed shaking my head and pushed him, walking away.

"Not fair", he whined.

I smirked making my way out of the room leaving him whining like a kid.

I arranged breakfast table and saw Devyansh coming with a grumpy face.

" Hukum", he called as i hummed in response.

"Come on, i did took right decision of giving you holiday today", he explained.

I hid my smile with my hand and signaled him to start eating. But he didn't move a inch.

"Hukum, breakfast is getting cold, so come and have it", I ordered.

As i attempt to move toward kitchen, he caught my wrist pulling me toward him.

" How can i have my food, when i know my wife is gonna stay empty stomach whole day", He honestly answered.

I looked at him with smiled dancing over my face all because of him .

"Hukum today is my fast, so i can't eat anything but you have to eat breakfast as you're going office", i explained touching his shoulder and pecked his cheek.

He cheekily smiled and took a seat and beside him, i sat. I served him.

After that he left for office but today i didn't let him kiss me. His face was worth watching as i told him so.

He whined for some minutes but as last went not before giving me fly kisses. I smiled recalling that moment and made my way inside the apartment.

And decided to call Maasa. I talked to her for some minutes as maasa had to do some works.

Nearly at 12 pm, Maasa called me asking if i had done puja or not. But i replied in no.

" Bindni we haven't done puja yet, so we have decided that why don't we do puja here and you do puja with us through video call", Maasa explained.

I got amazed as i heard her idea, My mother in law is too intelligent.

"Maasa great idea" I smiled.

"Okay then prepare your thaal and do video call soon", saying this maasa disconnected the call.

I nodded to myself and Prepared puja's thaal, just like Maasa instructed me.

After preparing it, i video called Maasa and she accepted.
