I slowly open my eyes revealing a small room, the light gently streaming through the slight gaps in the blinds, casting a warm glow across my room and onto the wall.

Beep Beep Beep

I groan and turn onto my side to slam my hand down on my alarm clock, it reads 7:00am. The sound immediately stops and I smile up at the ceiling, my eyes closed. Monday! The first day at my new school Summer Bay High.

I gently roll off the side of my big white bed, landing carefully on my feet. As I stand I raise my arms above my head, my back arched slightly as I stretch. I then head for the bathroom stripping my clothes from my body as I go. With the water running and a steady steam rising, I step into the shower, delighted when the warm water hits my back.

After a few minutes of just standing there enjoying the sensation, I shut the water off and hop out of the shower, grabbing a towel and quickly drying myself off. I grab a pair of skinny jeans and wriggle my way into them, afterwards pulling my favourite hoodie over my head and grabbing my white converses to slip on my feet.

I glance down at my phone, the time reads 7:45am and a notification pops ups from my mum. I don't need to be at school for another hour but I decide to head out anyway, grabbing my backpack and heading for the door.

I step out the door to be greeted by a chilling wind that sends shivers up my spine. I pull up my hood. Since I have time to spare I decide to walk to school, it's not too far from here so it'll be an easy walk.

I look back down at my phone to open up the group of messages I received from my mum.

Muma Bear: Good Morning!

Muma Bear: Enjoy your first day at your new school [Y/N]!

Muma Bear: Make sure to tell me all about it afterwards :)

I let a small chuckle escape my lips as I slip my phone back into my pocket and continue forward. Last year after I turned 17 I convinced my mum to let me get my own house so I could have my own peace and quiet. I moved a fair distance from my old school so I decided to change schools. I practically lived by myself anyway as mum was always going on business trips and leaving me alone. I enjoyed being alone though, it left me with with nothing but peace in its silence and some time to ponder over my thoughts without being interrupted.

I arrive at the front of my new school, it's heights towering over me and the warm sunshine heating me up gently, I look around to see a bustling school community and smile whilst the chilling wind soars past blowing my [H/L] [H/C] into my face so I can hardly see a thing.

I push the hair from my face just in time to see a boy running towards me. He wears all white clothing and a wacky pair of 3D glasses. He runs straight ahead, right towards me, obviously not looking where he's going as his head is turned in a different direction. I brace myself for impact as the boy slams into my body, both of us crashing to the ground.
