The song above - Luci With Demons In The Sky - makes an appearance here. Also I am convinced that we can't appreaciate the Spooky Kids era enough. Sorry for the delay, I have literally no excuse, I simply was too lazy to get my fat ass out of bed.

"We're just in time for lunch!" Phil said when we saw everyone entering the dining room as we came back from school. Following our peers we sat down and began to eat just slightly overcooked mac 'n' cheese.
"So what movie do you think we'll watch today?" Lily began to talk.
"Movie?" I echoed.
"Oh yeah, on Thursday afternoon we always watch a movie together." Janine explained. "I really hope it isn't a romcom again..."
"Absolutely, the cliché-cheese practically streamed out of my ears last week!" Lily agreed. "I hope there's some science fiction or fantasy this time."
"As long as we don't watch anything scary I don't mind." Johnny said.
"You don't like horror movies?" I asked.
"Nah, they scare the shit out of me." He laughed, sounding a little embarrassed.
Cute. Wait what?
While the others kept discussing the movie matter I was pretty preoccupied with figuring out why the hell I found Johnny cute. He was really good-looking, obviously. He was intelligent, he had humour and he was nice to practically everyone. So he definitely was more than just a good person, but why did I consider him cute? I couldn't possibly have a crush on him. God damn it, I was in the fucking locked ward and he really had enough shit to sort through. Not to mention the no close physical contact policy. The nurses were quite touchy when it came to cuddling – especially, but not exclusively when it involved patients of different sex.
"What genres do you like, Brian?" Johnny's voice interrupted my messed up brain.
"Uh, I really enjoy thrillers and anything with a lot of dark humour." Did I? I just talked without actually thinking.
I zoned out for the rest of the meal.
At some point I lay in bed, so it was time for lunch break apparently. Johnny and Fred seemed to be asleep. Since I really wasn't tired at all I got out my notebook and a sharpie – they didn't even allow me to keep a ball pen in the bedroom. Sitting up I placed my notebook upon my lap and began to draw. It turned out to be a picture of the garden behind my mother's house the way it looked a couple of nights back when I saw it from the bathroom window. Clouds rushed past the full moon, wind rustling in the branches of the willow tree and dew on the leaves. It turned out to look more like blood since I only had said red sharpie. Oh well... I drew a person lying underneath the willow, looking up at the top of the tree, covered in dew as well. The breeze was playing with his curls tangling them up and letting them fall over his face.
"Who's that?"
I jumped about two feet in the air.
"Jesus fucking Christ, you scared the living daylights out of me, Johnny!"
He was standing beside my bed and I had absolutely no clue how he managed to get out of his creaking bed without me noticing.
"I don't know, just some dude." I answered his question.
"Well, I like his curls."
"Yeah, me too." I was glad Johnny didn't notice that I wasn't looking at the drawing but at him.
