Chapter 2
After 5 minutes of trying to look for my dorm, I finally stood in front of the wooden door. The golden label that read 409 was across the door that separated my beginning and I. It stood there shining in the light, mocking me as I stared at it. I opened the door with the key I was given at the front desk. I walked inside, taking in my surroundings. There were two beds, a bathroom on the right, a closet, and furniture. Nothinf fancy. Just simple, and I liked simple. I placed my things on the left bed, and started to unpack. I neatly folded my clothing and placed them in the drawers of the dresser. I placed all my toilteries in the bathroom. I suddenly hear the door open, and in came a girl. Her blonde hair was in a messy bun on the top of her head. She was wearing a purple baggy shirt, sweatpants, and black converse. When her blue eyes met mine, I came to remember all the memories we have shared together since the 6th grade.
"Julie!!!" I yelled as I gave her a hug.
"Charlotte!!" she sleepily hugged me, and made her way onto the right bed.
"I'm so exhausted!!!!" she groaned.
"You and I both know that we won't go to sleep until tonight, so don't get your hopes up. I saw a coffee shop on the way here, I think it was a Starbucks. We're going there no matter what." I said. You see I have this strange obsession over coffee, and I almost drink it every day. It doesn't matter where I get it, it just needs to be coffee. But my favorite coffees is from the local coffee shop in my hometown. Memories.
" Okay mom, lets get ready first because I am not going out like this" she motioned down to her appearance. I cracked a smile.
"In that case, I take the bathroom first!" I said as I grabbed my clothes.

20 billion trillion zillion years later, we finally left our room. Julie takes an eternity to get ready, and sometimes I think she's more of a girl than me. I might as well be dead for the amount of time I have to wait. We left campus, and made our way to Starbucks on our penny boards, Sky, and Ghost (Kian Lawley reference). Once we got their we both ordered the same usual drink an sat down.
"Julie!" the barista said. Julie stood up to grab our order, while I waited in the booth. My thoughts soon rushed back to the boy I met earlier. I wonder what his name is? Was he going to the same school? Of course, why else would he be there? Maybe he was visiting a friend? Okay, definitely not, well we don't actually know that.I don't even know why I'm thinking about him. I probably won't ever see him again, but my gut said otjerwise. Julie soon came back, and slid into the seat across from me.
"So how's life?" she asked.
"Frantastic!" I say, since we were both obsessed with youtubers. My favorite is the one and only Connor Franta. You get it? Franta. Fantastic. Frantastic. "What about you?"
"Well, it can't be better than this. We're finally in college. Do you know what that means? It means freedom from our parents! Parties! And in the end, I'm with my bestest friend in the whole world" she says mentioning me. All I can do is laugh, and she soon joins me. Julie is the absolute crazy type. She's social, friendly, likes to party, funny, and really pretty. On the other hand, I'm shy, awkward, a little geeky, but once I'm comfortable around you, I'm totally a different person.
"We should get going, how about we watch some movies when we get home?" I asked, knowing the answer. We never get tired of movies. I bet we've almost seen all of them.
"Who wouldn't like to take that offer? Let's go!" she said.
"Wanna race?" I asked. "Adding some extra fun on the way back" I shrugged.
