Chapter 6
*RING* *RING* *RING*
"Stupid alarm! Can you be any louder!" I groaned.
"Turn it off!" Julie said.
"Don't you think I'm trying to?" I turned to look at her.
"Well you're not doing a good job at it" she said as she pulled the covers over her head.
"Excuse me. You try to shut this freaking alarm up while you're still half asleep" I said once I finally managed to turn the alarm off. The thing that made me even stupider was that the alarm was on my phone. Yeah, just one little button could make the room in silence, but my brain wasn't feeling it today.
I groaned once again.
"Can we freeze time?" I asked.
"If there was someway to do it, I think we would've done it ages ago" Julie replied peaking her head out of the duvet.
"Ready for the first day of school?" Julie asked.
"No"
"Simple, but effective" she said as she got out bed in the direction of the wardrobe.
"What should I wear?" She said as she started to throw her clothing everywhere.
"If you dig any deeper you'll find a secret opening to Narnia" I thought for a bit.
"Nevermind. Keep digging. Narnia can freeze time, then we both might be queens."
"You're not helping" Julie said in a sing-song voice.
"Well, what are you looking for?"
"Something cute, but comfortable at the same time"
I gave her an are-you-serious look.
"I think every girl wants that. Be more specific" I said as I sat up, my back against the wall.
"I'm thinking of wearing a dress or a skirt. What do you think?"
"If you're going to wear a dress, wear that blue dress you wore for my birthday one time. If you're going to wear a skirt, ummmm I don't know what kind of skirts you have." I shrugged. Julie nodded while focusing on the dress in front if her.
"Yeah. I'll put the dress on" she said as she made her way into the bathroom.
"You have to help me too" I shouted loud enough for her to hear me. All I could her was a muffled laugh in return. I sighed.
"What can I do now?" I said to myself. I thought for a while when my phone started to buzz. I checked to see it was a tweet.
"Hello twitter" I whispered to myself as I got into social media.
About 20 minutes later, Julie was out of the bathroom in her blue dress, and her hair wrapped around in a towel.
"See! Aren't my decisions always the best? " I said with a grin.
"I give you credit for today, but remember that one time" she said and even though she wasn't specific at all, I knew what she was talking about.
"Okay. That was one mistake. What about the other ones?" I said in defense.
"Whatever" Julie replied as she shook her head.
"Let's see. What do you want to wear?" She said as she turned to look at me.
" All I'm going to say is that it has to involve sneakers. That is a must." I said still laying in bed as she did all the work.
"Sneakers. Got it. How about this?" She said holding a pink shirt that I got from my mom. I scrunched up my nose.
