You really wanted to tell Peter, but you didn't know what would happen if you did

"Apparently some dude named 'Doctor Stephen Strange' wanted to meet me at this random address so he could tell me why he needed my help."

Peter shrugged his shoulders and said, "Whatever it was probably just some dumb prank call"

"Yeah that's what I thought at first, but..."
You didn't finish your sentence because of what strange said earlier

"But,what?" Peter was staring to sound worried
"but, then he said, and these are his exact words."
Before moving on you just stood there in silence thinking to yourself should you really say this

"Don't tell your friend Peter Parker about this."
"That's when he hung up..."

Peter's POV
When (y/n) said that he told her not to tell me, I started to panic...
"Are you actually going to go meet this 'Doctor Strange' figure, for all you know he could be a murder, or a kidnaper, or a..."
"Peter slow down, I haven't made up my mind yet..." (Y/n) put her hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down
"Oh! I got it! He's probably a raper!" I snapped my fingers as I looked at (y/n) with a serious,but silly, face...
After that (y/n) did a silent face palm
"Peter I'm glad that your concerned, and I appreciate it but the majority of those you just listed off are probably not going to happen, even if they did you know I know how to handle my self..."

I knew (y/n) was right, she could handle her self in a conflict, but that doesn't mean that she can in this one he is a grown man and could be very strong, but....
No matter how hard I try to convince (y/n) not to go I know that's she's going to go anyway, that's just how she is....

"Fine.... you go, but if anything goes wrong you call me..." and right after I finished saying that I realized that I sounded like a helicopter parent...

"You know you sound like my mom right now" (y/n) said giving me on of those looks that NO GUY IN THE WHOLE WORLD UNDERSTANDS! You know ones that are really annoying because only the girls will be the only ones that understand it, while the guys just sit there looking stupid....
Yeah, one of those kinds of looks....

"Yes, I am well aware of that (y/n)" I said with a little bit of humor in my voice

"Ok... I'll see you later Peter I got to go home now..."
"K see ya..."

No matter what Peter did to stop me I was going anyway because that's just how I do things, not even this mysterious 'Doctor Stephen Strange' will scare me off...
