Meadow is a 21 year old who lives on her own. Her dad died when she was 4 so she never knew him. She has always been very close with her mother. Who now has found a new man in her life. They decided to get married, but before they got married Meadow...
We gathered up in Demi's living room. Hayley sat next to me. The room was filled with tension. I don't know what it was, but you could just feel there was something off. Demi handed me a cup of tea with a sympathetic smile. You could tell that she felt bad for me, but there was something else.
"I love your outfit, Where did you get it from?" Lauren asked. "Hayley her closet." I said, sipping on my tea. Lauren giggled. "You have such a amazing style Hayley. I think I need to come by and look through your closet as well." We all laughed, except Demi. She just sat there, staring at Hayley and me.
"So how are you feeling now?" Demi suddenly spluttered. "I'll be alright. I have some cut's and bruises here and there, but it will be okay." I looked at er with a smile on my face. Demi nodded. "I'm glad." she said. I wanted to hug her. I couldn't help, but wanted to hold her went she felt like this. I know something is off, I just didn't know what. "At least Hayley's clothes look good on you." She joked, reaching for her cup of tea. She took a sip while starring into the distance.

Time past by. we have been talking for some hours now, but Demi still seems a little off. So I decided to talk to her alone. Demi, who has been quiet for quite some time, suddenly left the room to walk the dogs. I took this chance to talk to her about what was going on. I followed her, tentatively.
"You okay, Demi?" I whispered, worried. "Course I am, babe. Just a little bit, you know. . ." She trailed off. There was a pause. We walked outside with the dogs running around. "I mean. . . You. . . You and Hayley are - Together, right?" Her eyes looked down at the ground. "How did you know?" I ask, curious. "The way you look at each other. You're wearing her clothes and I heard you guys kiss when I was on the phone with Hayley today. it's kind of obvious." She stares into the distance. There was a short silence. "Are you In love with her?" She asks. "Yeah, pretty certain I am. Are you okay with that?" "Definitely, I'm proud of you, Cam. I guess I'm just-. . ." She paused. "You can tell me." I said.
She stopped walking. It was already getting late. The sky turned an orangy-yellow colour while the sun started to settle down behind a large building. She turned around and her eyes met mine almost immediately. Batman and Cinderella played on the grass near our feet. A Wave of nervousness washed over me like the sea had pulled me under. a whole minute passed. Every second felt like an hour had past. Demi slowly leaned in and connected her lips with mine. I stood there. Frozen to the ground. She pulled away slowly and looked down at her feet again.
". . . Jealous." She mumbled. All I could do was hug her. I knew exactly how that felt. I'd watch her and Lauren all the time and feel the same exact way, but I am with Hayley now. I couldn't do this to her. I love her so much.
"You know I'm with Hayley, Demi and you are with Lauren. . . I love you, but I love her too and we are soon to become stepsisters. . . you can't do this. We can't do this. Not now. Not ever. . . We just can't." I said, tearing up. The little voice in my head spoke up. You know you want her and now you know she wants you too. Why are you wasting your only chance?
She looked at me with desperation in her eyes. I hadn't seen Demi like this. She always was the confident, badass type of girl. Now she looks so breakable and sad. It hurts me to see her like this, but I really can't do this to Hayley. . . or myself.
"I get it. You are right. I'm sorry, let's not talk about this at home, okay?" She said, looking up at me. I've never seen so much pain in her eyes. It hurts. I nod. "Okay, of course." It was a quiet way home. I kept thinking about the kiss and what she told me. We arrived home so I pushed it to the back of my mind.

"There you guys are! We were getting worried!" Lauren said, hugging Demi. "We're okay, we just had a nice talk about you guys." Demi said, grinning. I looked over my shoulder to see Demi faking a smile. "Did you know that Hayley and Camila are a thing?" Demi said, overly happy all of the sudden. "WHAT?! no way! our plan worked babe! we knew you two would get along!" Lauren said, jumping from excitement. What? Their plan? Demi was in on this and she now feels jealous? I looked at Hayley. "Yes, we are a 'thing'. And I'm so lucky I have her." She said, kissing me on the cheek. I made eye contact with Demi and looked at her confused. Her eyes drifted away, slowly.

On our way home I thought about what happened today. "I thought you wanted to keep it for ourselves for a while, because your parents didn't know it yet." I got snapped out of my thought. "Y-Yes, but I was just to excited to share it with. . . Demi." I fumed. She kissed me on my cheek. "You're so cute." She said, proudly. I felt so bad lying to her. We only started dating for 2 days now and I'm already unfaithful. I felt so bad. " I love you meadow." I wanted to tell her everything, but that included my feelings for Demi. I couldn't do that to her. . . or myself.
". . . I love you too Hayley."
