You sat next to J.D in his car, waiting for him drive away from the hospital. J.D pulled a cigarette from his pocket, and lit it, taking a few drags off it before starting the car. He looked at you with the cigarette in his hands. He raised his eyebrows at you, asking if you want to try."Oh, what the hell," you sighed, taking it from his hands. You took it, and took a few drags off it as well.

You turned your head to meet his steady gaze."Where to, my lady?" He asked, taking the cigarette from your hands, and putting it elsewhere. You leaned your head on the window."Home. I want to go home..." You trailed off as you watched people entered and leave the parking lot. You felt the car start to move as the scenery outside the window moved along as well."Well then we'll go to my place and do... Whatever you want to do I guess," he shrugged. Then you just seemed to drift off to sleep. Till you felt light shaking.

"Darling, Darling. Darling were here," J.D woke you softly."J.D, go away...," you muttered."Y/N, I would love for you to sleep all day. But I'm not letting you sleep in the damn car," he told you. You opened your eyes, and then flipped over. So you weren't facing him."My darling, you know you have to come in," he said a bit muffled. Then you felt his arms pick you up,"J.D? What the hell are you doing? Put me down!" You yelled into his chest. He had picked you up bridal style, and being a total asshole about it! He opened the door to his house, and closed it back with his foot."Put me down, Jason!" You hit his chest angrily."Okay! Okay!" He kissed your head, and sat you down.

"I swear, you can be such a jerk sometimes!" You yelled at him."And the other times?" You were about to reply, and say the other times he was an even bigger jerk. But was cut off,"Hey dad, I bought girl home," said a way deeper voice than J.D's. You looked behind you to see a taller man with gray hair standing behind you, smiling a bit. You felt J.D grab your arm, and pull you back to him. He moved closer to his side, as he wrapped his arm around your waist. You didn't really want to be in that position. You don't even remember your first date with him."That's great, son," J.D whispered through clenched teeth. You noticed J.D had started being way over protective of you since the man walked in. Which you let him do. Even though at the moment you were a bit mad at him.

"Yep, dad, she a real keeper..." the man said. Whatever was going on, it made you uncomfortable."Well son, let me speak to this girl, alone," J.D started digging his nails into your hips. You looked up at him, hoping he get the hint that he was hurting you. His eyes traveled to yours. His grip on you soften along with his gaze."Come on dad," the man looked at you, and then J.D,"don't be square."

"Dad! God damn! Take a hint! Can you fucking leave us alone!" J.D snapped, taking you by surprise."J.D, look, it's fine," you stood in front of him to get his attention, but he didn't break his stare from the man behind you."J.D, look at me, and calm down," he looked down at you, but his eyes didn't break from his anger."Y/N, get out of the way. I don't want you to get hurt," he said like stone. And you could tell he was thinking about his next move. You knew he was trying to protect you, that that's what this is all about. He thinks that you can't see what goes down in his head. But in that moment, it was like you had x-ray vision into his mind.

He was going to kill to protect you, even if you were a bit crossed at him."J.D, please," you grabbed his hand," just let it go." J.D was trying to think of what to do at the moment. To think of two things.

One, he could throw you against the wall to get you out of the way. But that would be hurting you, and he doesn't want that. Two, he could forget about this, and let you sleep. And it seemed like he was thinking about the first option. And then he got his answer, both of them.

J.D picked you up, and put you to the side. Not hurting one bit, Improvement... Then he came face to face with the man."Dad, you never care about anything I do. Why care now? After all these years, why?" J.D said, trying to keep his cool. And not make you upset."Because you never said anything about having a little pet," the man, which at this point to you was know as J.D's dad, eyed you as you said that."She is not my pet, and don't you dare bring her into this, dad," J.D threatened."Oh, why can't I bring her into this, son," J.D's dad spit."Because I love her!"

It all went silent after J.D yelled that. You could almost see the steam coming off J.D. Everything that has happened between them in the past few weeks had built up to this. To him spilling everything."You love her? As in l-o-v-e, her?" J.D nodded, and reached his hand into his pocket. Oh my god...

"Yes, do you have a issue with that? Cause if so..." J.D pulled a gun out of his pocket, and pointed at his dad's face."Please, oh god, please no J.D! I don't want to go through this bull-shit again!" You yelled, trying to get J.D to stop."Oh, come now son. You wouldn't! You wouldn't kill your own father," J.D's dad sounded a little to calm about this, like it had happened before."Try me. I'll shoot you, just like I've shot others," J.D snickered."Be careful, Jason. You never know when moms' watchin'," J.D's dad told him coldly. You ran to J.D, begging him not to shoot. Telling him that we could just go up stairs and watch up movie."I think you should listen to your girl there Jason. Don't you want to have alone time with her?" J.D's hands began to shake under pressure."J.D, please, no more death..." You begged again, wanting him to stop."Our love is god," he whispered, putting the gun down.

You sighed, and hugged J.D."Dear god, Jason.... You have to stop pulling out this crazy shit, no pun intended," you half laughed."I can't promise that, love," he told you.

You wished that he didn't call you 'love' at the moment. Because you couldn't say the same.

You didn't feel love to him.
