Aidette pov
We both had fallen asleep. It was about 2:35 am when I woke up. I jumped up not knowing where I was but soon realize I was just on my couch. I looked over to see Diego sleeping. He's so cute when he's sleeping, I thought. I'm starting to wonder if I'm falling in love with him. But I've only knew him for not even a full day so, I pushed that thought way far back into my head.
He started to move and soon his eyes fluttered open. "Hey beautiful, you like the view?" He said sitting up and noticed I was staring at him.
"Yeah, ya know it's not that bad" I said giving him the biggest smile.
"My view isn't horrible either" he leaned in, his lips crashed into mine. I smiled through the kiss as I did so he slid his tongue in my mouth, shortly after we began fighting for dominance with our tongues. What was a small kiss at first turned into a big make-out session. I adjusted myself so I was straddling him. He placed his hands on my hips and trialed his kiss down my neck. I knew we should stop before we do anything we regret but, I didn't want to stop. It's been months since I got this kind of attention and I haven't realized how much I needed it.
"Diego.. wait i don't know if we should do this" I paused as he pulled away from me. "I really actually like you and I don't want to mess it up. Plus, we haven't even known each other for a whole day yet" I said looking into his eyes, he looked sad or maybe annoyed. "Please don't be mad, I'm sorry" I continued to stare into his green eyes.
"It's okay, I get it" I could tell he was mad. I got up off of him. "I'm gunna go to bed. You can stay here if you want. I can get you a pillow and a blanket" I said standing in front of him.
"Nah it's okay I think I should head home. You wouldn't want a complete stranger staying in your home, anyways" he sighed getting up off the couch.
"Did you miss the part where I said I actually really like you?" I questioned folding my arms.
"I really like you too aidette and like you said you don't wanna mess it up and I completely agree with you. I've never been good with relationships or my feelings" he walked over to put his shoes on.
I smiled at him noticing that he can't tie his shoes. "Awh baby" I smiled. "What?" He questioned. "You're just really cute. And also can you not tie your shoes?" I said walking closer to him immediately forgetting that he was mad at me for leading him on.
"Uh no I can't. I've been taught all the different ways of tying and I just cant" he said tucking his shoe laces in his shoe.
"I guess we have to hangout a lot so I can help you" I smiled at him as he looked up at me.
"Yeah for sure" he engulfed me in a hug.
"I'm sorry for leading you on" I said pulling away from the hug.
"It's okay lil ma. But I should head home anyways. Bye" he gave me a small smile and walked out the door looking back at me once he was outside.
I locked the door behind him and headed to my room. As I was halfway down the hall I heard my phone go off. So I turned around to get it from the living room. As I pick up my phone I hear a knock at the door. I sighed and walked to the door. It was colson.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as he pushed his way in.
"Baby I'm sorry. I need you back in my life I don't care if you don't want to be with me. Just as friends that's fine. Aidette I need you in my life. I'm lost without you" he cried.
"Colson I don't think so. You broke my heart and I'm just now getting it together and moving on. I think you should do the same" I said.
The door was still open, Diego appears in front of the door frame knocking on the open door. I turned around and smiled at him, I was so fucking happy to see Diego right now you don't even know. Even if he literally just left.
"Hey um I forgot my phone" he said awkwardly.
"Yeah I can see that you moved on" Colson said bluntly. "Can you just please think about what I said?" He begged.
"Fine" I said because I knew if I agreed to at least think about it he'll leave. And with that he left glaring at Diego.
"That was my ex" i said while locking the door. "He wants me back in his life and I said no" I sighed. I could see Diego didn't know what to say. I was really about to cry right in front of him because of Colson. "He broke my heart. He cheated on me. So if I seem really hesitant about anything it's because I don't want my heart to get broken again. And I mean I barely know you right now anyways so" he started to walk closer to me. He tilted my head up to look at him
"I would never hurt you" he pulled me into a kiss.
"I really fucking like you" I said pulling away from him. "I'm tired. Do you just wanna stay?" I asked hoping he would say yes. He thought for a minute I'm assuming of because what happened earlier.
He smiled and nodded "yeah I would love to"
"Okay great" I smiled grabbing his hand dragging him behind me to my room. "You can stay in here with me. Only if you want" I said sitting on my bed patting my bed saying he could sleep on my bed with me.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes. I'm sure baby" I said with a big smile.
I got up off the bed, grabbing some clothes that were sprawled across my bedroom floor and went to my bathroom to change.
I came back to see Diego already under the covers. I smiled and hopped into the bed getting all cozy. "Damnit! The lights" I cursed myself for forgetting to turn off the lights.
"I gottchu babe" he said getting up to turn off the lights. I noticed he was only wearing his boxers. Once he turned off the lights he ran and jumped into bed quickly pulling himself under the blankets.
"You're such a dork" I laughed scooting closer to him.
"Hey" he said acting offended. He pulled me closer holding me in his arms. I nuzzled my head into his chest.
"I could get use to this" I smiled falling into a deep sleep.
