Being a Nurse

You sat up in your bed to the sight of sunlight, you smiled under the warmth and looked at the clock which displayed 4:49 am, early but normal for you-you grabbed your stuff and got yourself ready as fast as possible at 6:00 they ring the bells for breakfast which meant most men were getting up at 5:00 to get ready, once you were ready in your new nurse uniform you headed to tent 15 where Alexander and the others were

"Girl entering" you yelled before entering to avoid seeing anything you didn't want to see 

"com'on in Y/N," John said

You entered the room and just as you did Alexander hugged you 

"Good morning sweet baby," he said, you pulled away to see his face

"Good mo-" You cut your self off seeing his black eye and bruised cheek

"Alexander! What happened!" 

"A stupid bar fight, they went after John I had to protect him"

"ugh com'on let's get you fixed up," you said, then look at the other men and saw that they were even more beat up then Alexander, John looking the worse.

You patched up their wounds and walked to breakfast afterward. You didn't particularity like what was served you missed your mom's/Marta's cooking but you knew that would happen

"Well I guess I should go and start my job" You said to the guys and gave Alexander a hug who kissed your forehead. You walked to the nursing tent and introduced yourself to the other nurses who were all basically men only 2 other women there, they were all kind and welcoming and most of all thankful for more hands on board. Today was just training so most likely (except for the few stupid ones) there wouldn't be much for injuries but once the war truly began you would be more hopping.

You flopped down on your bed. Exhausted, you sighed and heard the door burst open, You sat up a bit startled. You saw your 4 roommates come in drunken and intoxicated  

"Yo dude we should knock up that one nurse, the new girl she's a hot number" One of the men said. You knew they were talking about you because you were the only new nurse, you were of course uncomfortable; You decided you had two options, pretend to sleep or leave and go to Alexander's tent. You decided to go to Alexander's tent. You got up silently as the stumbled to their beds and snicked (yep, i was tired when i wrote this reading it back i laughed so much i had to keep it) out the door. You opened the tent door without thinking twice 

"Y/n are you ok?" Alexander said sensing the panic in your face 

"I uh... I can I sleep with you tonight?" You heard the other boys burst into laughter and hollers

"Looks like someone wants to hit you up Alex" Hercules laughed

"Shut up! Just shut up!" Alexander yelled

"Listen you little shits. Y/n Is obviously freaked out about something you need to stop joking around for one night and just like me take care of my girlfriend" Alexander said a little more calmly and relaxed as you did too. You explained what happened

"Imma go give em' a beating," John said

"Right behind ya' John. Lets go give em' a run for their money"  Laf said

"Guys its late. let go to bed and deal with em' in the morning" Alexander said stroking your head/hair. You were lucky already changed into your sleep clothes so you didn't have to face the nightmares head on again. You lied back onto Alexander in the one person bed, even though he had offered to sleep on the floor you'd feel bad that you were already invading their tent space but he wouldn't let you sleep on the floor so sharing a bed seemed to be the only option considering you both weren't to argue. You didn't mind this arrangement a bit. You snuggled into him a bit, inhaling his lovely musk. You sighed and happily let tiredness overcome yourself.
