I know some people didn't like it but I enjoyed it.
An unpopular opinion of mine is that I didn't like Hannah.
At first, I really liked her and didn't understand why people didn't but when I thought about it I saw why.
I didn't like how she didn't defend herself. She just let people in school tell rumors about her and say anything about it. It's like expected things from people and that annoyed me.
Another thing I didn't like about Hannah is that about half of her tapes were about petty stuff that solved just by talking. This brings back to her not defending herself. When Jessica slapped her because of the list Alex made she could've just got the both of them to figure it all out.
I honestly didn't like the fact that she left tapes in the first place. She was basically blaming other people for her actions.
other things I didn't like:
1. how clay said that if he just told Hannah how she felt she would be alive.
Clay, I love you but that's not how it works. To me, that was romanticising suicide which isn't cool.
2. Jessica and Justin dating
I like both of the characters but I don't think they should stay in a relationship.
3. Jessica not getting back together with Alex.
I ship them so much like omg. What he did was wrong but he proved that he's sorry so I hope she forgives him and they get back together.
4. Clay and Sherri not being canon.
Don't even get me started on them. They could've been such a cute couple but then they got into a fight.
5. Bryce.
FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT. I CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE DEFENDING HIM.

he was literally a stalker
7. Courtney
she had so much potential to be a poc raging lesbian but she decided to be a snake
8. Marcus
I thought he would be cool since he was the black dude and they usually portrayed as funny but he was just disgusting smh.
9. Montgomery LaCruz
I love you when you're ash from t@gged but you beat up my baby Alex.
10. Jeff dying
He was one of my favorite characters. He was Clay's best friend and always had his back. He was nice to everyone and just wanted to get good grades and play baseball. He was so cute too like omg.
things I did like
1. how they tied the present with the past
2. diversity in the cast
3. they talked about important topics
4. my favorite characters: clay, tony, zach, alex, and jeff. such gems™
5. how they still incorporated humor in a serious show.
6. soundtrack was saucy
7. I loved it so much I want an s2!
and that's my opinion on 13rw! if you don't agree then oh well I don't care.
