Life on the borderland... it could be sweet and diverse, and unlike what people think, we don't live in danger. We survived the presidential election. We survived the school year in a field full of thorns. We even survived the summer scorpion season...
I wake up to the sound of my puppy barking. I groan, but then am reminded of how awesome I am. I go downstairs and feed my pup. I then head towards the bus stop. It is 9/14/01. I head towards my friends, or clique, as my sister calls them. What's a clique? Monica is wearing a skirt that is waaay too short, and she is standing next to Roku. Roku is wearing skinny jeans and a neon pink T-Shirt that reads: "Unlike You." We walk into the bus and face stubborn Racheal and bothersome Angela. "You remind me of a penny, double sided and worthless." Roku tells Racheal. "Well, at least I am worth something, unlike you. See? Your shirt even says it!" The whine bus goes silent. Then everyone says, " You JUST got burned!"(A/N: Did people say that in 2001?) Roku looks away and we follow her.
