For closet witches this is a bit of a stretch but if you can access a bookstore like Books-A-Million then you may be able to find books on witchcraft. If your guardians question it then just tell them you're interested in learning about it; if that's too questionable then try a broader selection like mythology. If you can't get physical books, try looking for online essays or free books to download. There are some good ones on here too!
I've gotten a lot of information from doing my own research online rather than reading books but one of my favorite books about witchcraft is "The Witches Journal; Charms, Spells, Potions, and Enchantments" by Selene Silverwind.
