I was asleep and my dreams were empty. Mainly because I wasn't dreaming about anything. Rather, I was thinking about how I'd need to change my habits in order to accommodate for these two new additions to my house. I was still deep in my sleep when I felt something tingle my nose briefly. After that feeling dispersed, I kept thinking about what the logistics were of living with catgirls. Would I need to feed them any differently than I do? Would they need to have their own beds? How do they clean themselves? All these thoughts whirled around my head until I felt the same tingle skim my nose, stronger this time. I blinked my eyes a few times until they were open to the extent where I could at least see in front of me. I looked down my bed and saw the two girls in under the covers with me! Why were they here?! I mean...I guess I didn't really give them a bed to sleep in. I just assumed that since they were cats, they'd just sleep on the couch or something. I thought about leaving the bed to let them have it until I was quickly reminded that they were on both sides of me. After several minutes of tedious movements and sneaking, I managed to get out of the bed. I went out into the living room and laid down on the couch. I fell asleep pretty easily after that. Tomorrow I'm definitely getting them a separate bed.

...

The next morning, I was exhausted. I slowly got off the couch only to fall limp again, hitting my face against the carpet. It hurt, definitely. But I was just way too tired from my thoughts keeping me awake last night to care enough. My eyes were closed and I was half asleep when I heard the familiar voice of Kay.

-"Master, are you okay?" she said.

I mustered what little energy I had in me and raised my torso with my arms to face Kay.

-"What...I'm tired." I said, eyelids still heavy.

Something was most likely wrong since she had a very concerned look on her face.

-"Master! You're hurt! Come with me! I can help you!" She said, helping me up.

I was a rag-doll walking down the hall to the bathroom. I tried my best not to fall on her while I was walking. Through my blurry vision I could see that she wasn't trying too hard to keep me standing. She just had a look of determination on her face. Strange, men are usually supposed to be stronger in most cases...I guess not now. Finally, we arrived at the bathroom. She sat me down on the lowered toilet seat and got the gauze out of the medicine cabinet. Just how bad were my injuries? She wrapped it around my forehead, it felt really painful but she seemed like she knew what she was doing. After about 7 turns, she cut the piece of gauze off and sealed it with medical tape. It's almost like she's a surgeon. Once she put all the material back, she went on her knees and looked at me, my head facing down. She looked like she was inspecting her work, quite intensely. She nodded to herself before actually looking at me.

-"Master...are you okay? Does it still hurt?" she asked, her ears drooping down.

-"Well...better now, I'll admit." I said.

She let out a sigh of relief before speaking again.

-"Master, take better care of yourself. What happened?" Kay said.

-"I guess my fatigue caught up with me." I said.

I saw her ears peak back up when I said that. She thought of something.

-"I have an idea!" Kay said with a smile.

I didn't even have time to ask what the idea was before she grabbed my wrist and pulled me back out to the living room. I took a quick glance at the kitchen table and saw Kio drinking some tea. She seemed rather calm.
