Foreword from the band -
The idea for this album started already when we wrote the lyrics for the 2010 album 'Coat of Arms'.By then we already had the idea that one day we should write an album where we take focus away from the big battles and focus more on the inviduals who go beyond the call of duty, do something extraordinary thus earning the title 'hero'.
We already saved such stories since the time for 'Coat of Arms' and the majority of the songs on this album was actually inspired by ideas sent in by fans like you.
The preassure was huge on us to follow up the success of 'Carolus Rex' which was a milestone in our career. With some fresh blood in the band we also felt that no shadow must fall on our new recruits. We want to look forward and not get stuck in the past.
Sitting here writing the final words for the booklet we can be proud of what we achieved.
Mission accomplished.
