The snow fell thickly and silently, creating a world of white all around. Gravestones were coated in a layer of white, flowers frozen to them. The once clear pathway had now disappeared under a blanket of fresh snow, glistening in the winter sun as it had been untouched. A few tracks had been left by an innocent robin searching for any source of food. Most of nature had disappeared for the winter, apart from the odd animal brave enough to face the cold English weather.
Church bells rang loudly, announcing the marriage of a beloved couple. A crowd of people emerged from the church doors, bright faces with rosy red cheeks from the cold. Handfuls of confetti showered down on the happy couple as they made their way down the church pathway. The loud buzz of cheers and laughter hung in the air as everyone celebrated the glorious day.
"Smile for the camera everyone!" announced the photographer, poised for photos. The newly weds stood outside the church with their best men on either side and the bridesmaids lined up in the front. The men all wore black tuxes with radiant red roses tucked into the front pockets of their jackets. The bridesmaids wore matching extravagant, red dresses that swept to the floor. There were a few photos with teeth chattering as they battled the cold while the photographer clicked away with her camera.
Once the photographer was done, the couple stepped into their car that would take them to the wedding reception for further celebrations, confetti still being poured down on them by friends and family before they drove away.
"Well Mr Malik-Payne, I think this calls for a glass of champagne?" Zayn said, pulling a glass of the finest champagne out of one of the shelves in the limousine. Zayn, aged 32, was a tall man, black hair neatly shaped into a stylish, yet purposefully slightly messy, quiff to match his on point fashion sense. His arms were adorned with tattoos which had been collected over the years.
"I think it does..." Liam replied, smiling the widest smile at his beautiful husband. Liam, aged 30, was the same height as Zayn yet a tad bulkier than him from his impressive muscle. He also owned a few tattoos himself, yet despite his love for them had settled to stop at the age of 25. His face was adorned with a pair of chunky designer glasses that suited him very well, and gave him that edgy look.
People couldn't deny that Liam and Zayn were the hottest, most on-trend couple currently out there and their relationship was so strong that nothing could break it. It was 7 years today that the two men had explained their love for each other, and their relationship had developed from there.
"I can't believe after all this time I finally get to call you my husband..." Liam said, sitting close beside Zayn so he could wrap his arm over his shoulder; Zayn nestling into Liam and fitting perfectly.
"I've been looking forward to this day all my life." Zayn replied, leaning over to kiss Liam lightly on the lips.
"I never want this to end." Liam whispered into the kiss. Zayn pulled away and tapped him lightly on the nose.
"It never will. Forever and always." Zayn uttered, crossing his heart.
"Forever and always..." Liam repeated, smiling to himself as he crossed his heart in unison.
