Don't Worry Too | The Sequel

Not Over It

These last few days I've been dreading around the house. I'll get Raniyah to school at a reasonable time being I changed my shift for work a long time ago and I of course now have to take the twins with me.

My mom is supposed to come by before 4:30, when I have to be at work and watch the twins. I hadn't told her what happened between Chris and I, I haven't told anybody to be technical. My mom is the last person I'd wanna tell anyway because once I tell her what him or anyone else has done to me, there's no coming back from it.

"Raniyah, put Amiyah's pacifier in her mouth." I told her while I drove her to school. I was tired as hell and I unintentionally woke the babies up out of their sleep trying to put them inside their car seats.

Amiyah fussed and fell back asleep shortly after.

I pulled up to the line of cars and sat there until I got to the unloading zone.

"Have a great day, baby. I love you so much." I said to her and pulled up closer to the curb. I waited on Raniyah to get out of the car. Her teacher was outside as always and they walked her inside.

"Back home I go." I said aloud and pulled off.

I looked back at the twins and they were asleep, perfect. I just hope they stay asleep when we get home.

When I got home, I laid the babies in their swings that were located in the living room. Try bringing two car seats inside the house at one time, it's unbelievably hard.

I sighed aloud and laid on the couch. I called myself scrolling on instagram for a while until I fell back to sleep.

*Ding ding* my text message sound went off while showing a notification at the top of my screen.

LOML 💍❤️ : wyd? Can I come by?
9:00 AM

Oh yeah— how could I forget.. He's been texting me these past three days trying to reach me but I've been avoiding him. I'm surprised he hadn't just walked on in on his own, he has keys.

I've been avoiding him as I said and I'm surprised I didn't see the "crazy" he claimed I'd see if I was to so much decline his call.
Good he didn't react though because lords know Chris can get wild.

It's time for me to go back to sleep though, I need to sleep while they are.

4:00 PM

"Now Raniyah, grandma is going to come by to watch you and your little brother and sister so don't give her a hard time." I explained to her while putting my work clothes on. I get off of work at 10:30 and I hate it.

"Okay mommy." She answered

"Where's daddy at, mommy? He's been away for a lot of days." She said looking up to me.

I sighed, "Well... since your brother and sister
were born, we were starting to need more money. So daddy is out trying to get a lot of money for everyone so that results in him being away for a little longer than usual. He will be back soon and when he says when, I'll let you know." I said and fake smiled at her.

"Okay." She smiled and ran downstairs.

I looked at the time on my phone, which read 4:15. I need to not be late today. I meant to mention to y'all when I woke up from my nap that I had 6 missed calls from Chris and 3 text messages. He's been harassing me since he left.

Shortly after, I heard a knock and knew that was my mom.

"Hey mom" I said after opening the door.

"Hey baby." She said and hugged me

"Where are my other two grand babies?" She asked, seeing Raniyah on the couch.
