I took a deep breath, "Yes" I answered flashing a fake smile.

"One second, hey come look at this" this officer said, calling the other officer over.

I was now damn near about to shit my pants, I know how gross it sounds but I was literally standing here anticipating on what they were going to say.

I looked to Chris who had the straightest face in history, I couldn't tell what he was thinking or how he felt because he was so calm.

"Where'd you get that, slushy?" He said glancing down in my cup.

I frowned and looked down at it with him.

"Was it from over there? We've stopped through here a few times and could never get one. They're always out of something." The officer said and chuckled lightly.

"Haven't we, Cooper?" The officer asked the other one

"Yeah, I've heard they were really good I can understand why there are always none left." The other officer, who must've been Cooper had said.

I gave a nervous smile, "Uh, y-yeah. It's over at that stand" I said pointing to the stand at my far left side.

"Thank you! You guys enjoy the rest of your night." The first office said and smiled, then walked off.

I took a huge sigh of relief. Boy, aren't I glad that's over.

"You had, "I'm standing next to a murderer" written all over yo face, loosen up girl." Chris said as we walked.

"You have to understand that it's not that easy for me. You know how I can get, I don't kill people and go about my day for a living." I told him as we walked towards where we seen
Mick and Trey.

"I know baby, I know." He said and placed his arm around my hip.

"There y'all are! We lose y'all everywhere we go." Mick said once we met back up with her

"We were on our way back over here but the police had stopped us." I said

"Oh my god, are we going to jail? Do we have to go in for questioning?" Mick asked

"Don't you think if we were doing either of those we wouldn't be over here in yo stank ass face? And keep the barking down, you'll alarm people." Chris said

"They were just inquiring about our slushy." I said

"That's it?" Trey asked

I nodded my head.

"Aw shit, we good then." He said as we walked off.

"Mick and I are about to go to the slot machines." I said to Chris

"Don't spend all your money here!" I said before we walked off.

"You don't know how scared I was when they stopped us Mick, I almost died right there."

"Really?" She said while laughing

"Yeah! Try having paranoia thoughts about something and it actually happens." I said to her while sipping on my drink.

"That's hilarious." She said

"I bet it is, Ms. are we going to jail. You did worse than I did, if you would've seen them you probably would've cracked and told them everything. You're no better under pressure." I said to her once we made it to the machines.

She agreed and we sat in front of our separate machines.

While Alexis and Mick inserted their money into the slot machines and things not as complicated as the table, Chris and Trey were betting their money at some of the most complicated tables.
