The cars were slowly moving, eventually speeding up but not speeding up enough. After a few cars switched lanes once the path was clear, I was able to switch lanes and speed up while constantly eyeing the car.

"Make sure the car not goin out of sight." I told Trey as I tried to make my way on this busy ass express way.

Right when another car switched lanes, I sped up going at least 80 mph.

"Damn slow down." Trey said, seeing how fast I was going

"Get yo ass out and walk then. I'm not about to slow down if my life depended on it, I'm tryna get to my baby." I said

"You don't wanna die in the midst of it, do you?"

"For her I will, I'll die trying." I said and that shit was true. I don't give a damn about getting in an accident or making all these people on the express way pissed by the way I'm driving, I could care less. I'm just tryna get to her... hoping she was safe and sound. Which was the main thing I was worried about.

The more reckless and faster I went , the more horns started honking at me. I paid them no mind and focused on the road.

"Bro, be careful. You almost rear ended somebody." Trey said

"They need to get the fuck out the way and I need you to stop tellin' me how to drive." I said

My phone started ringing in Trey's hand.

"Who is it?" I said while periodically glancing at him.

"August" He said and answered it

"Put it on speaker." I said

"Bro, I just came from the station. The police on their way to the mall right now to watch the videos." August said

"Alright." I said

"Did you get anywhere yet?" He asked

"Naw, I'm on the express way right now but I see the car." I said

"Ima hit you up in a minute, I'm tryna focus right now. Good lookin' though bro."

"Bet." He said and hung up

I was almost close to the car. I was in the middle lane while the car stayed in the right lane it's been in this whole time.

"Where you think he going?" Trey asked

"Look like he going in the suburbs somewhere." I said

I was now parallel to the car and I kept trying to glance in to see could I see anything or anybody.

"Trey, you see what he look like? Do you see Alexis?" I said trying to get closer

"He got a mask on still, ion see Alexis... she could be laying down." Trey said

"What if she not in the car and I been chasing this car down all this time?" I said, growing worried.

"Get closer so I can try and look." Trey said

I turned the steering wheel slightly so I could move over.

"Roll your window down and try and get his attention." I said

Trey rolled his window down and tried flashing the car with his hand. The driver finally looked.

"Where you headed?" Trey asked him, as if he was gone tell him.

"You got my homie girl back there! Pull over." Trey said , he sounding so stupid right now. This man not about to listen to him.

The guy pulled a gun out and pointed it at Trey.
