Something Tells Me

"Hold on" Chris said and came and sat down on the couch.

"You sound down right dumb. Don't punish your child because you and Trey fucked up." He said

"He's right, Mick. You know I don't believe in abortion at all! I support you with everything you want to do, but this one I don't. Does Trey know about this?" I said

"Hold on, are either of you carrying this baby?" She pointed to Chris then to me

"That's far from the fuckin' point and you know it is." Chris butted in

"To be technical I wasn't even talking to you, ass hole. I was talking to Alexis. And, to answer your question, he doesn't know." Mick said

"I don't give a damn if you was talking to the twins, when you come in my place of residence I got the right to listen in and comment on any
situation. Last time I checked, your home wasn't here." Chris fired back

"Chris just be quiet for a second." I said to him and rubbed his shoulder. I know he was becoming annoyed by the conversation but he just needs to keep quiet and calm for right now.

"But, Mick no one is trying to tell you what to
do or how to do it, we're just voicing our opinions. Whether Chris was sitting right here or not, I'd still voice my opinion.. I actually thought that was your point of coming to tell me... so you could get my input." I said

"Actually I just needed someone to talk to, not get judged for my decision." She said

"Well shit, you knew you was gone get that when you came in here and said that dumb shit." Chris chimed in.

"Okay, I'm about to go then. I see neither of you are any help." She said and stood up

"Go, ain't nothing stopping you. I don't know what you do pissed for, you know we wasn't about to just listen to you say that shit like it was okay." Chris replied

"You keep saying we when I wasn't talking to
you, I was talking to Alexis." She said

I couldn't really think of what to say, Chris was stealing the words right out of my mouth and I couldn't agree more with what he was saying.

"Look, this is my decision—" she started

"Mick, honestly... I don't give a damn about your decision because your decision is stupid. Yeah yeah, I know all that it's your body shit and you do what you want but why harm a child that didn't ask to be here? Then what make it even worse is that you keeping it from Trey and he wouldn't even know he had a second child on the way. If you knew from the start you ain't want a second child keep yo damn legs closed or better yet use protection! Cause I'll be damned if I find out sometime near future that Alexis was to get pregnant again but instead of telling me, she decides to abort the baby. I'll beat her ass and ion even hit females." He said

I wanted to clap but I didn't want to offend Mick no more than she already was.

She sighed, "I'll call you later Alexis. Please don't say anything to Trey." She said and grabbed her bag

"I won't." I said

"Chris." I said and elbowed him

"Shit, I wish I would keep quiet. Anything else I would've left a secret but this I won't, whatever you decide to do.. better tell him before I do." Chris said and she just rolled her eyes and left.

"Your friend really sound stupid as hell." Chris said and put the twins on their blanket.

"Yeah I know, you can't tell her shit though. I really hope she keeps the baby though.. it's not his or her fault that his parents aren't working out." I said
