The Lion's Wrath

Wolf vs All, Seon sees her Fate.

  "After rushing back as fast as I could I quickly made my way through town to the castle gates. I was out of breath by the time I reached the gates when a guard asked me my purpose. I told him I needed to speak with the King and Wolve's-Claw immediately and he quickly took me there. Soon I was led straight into the main throne chambers where both King Alastair and Wolf awaited me. "Wolf, Alastair I come with a warning the party and all of us are in grave peril!" I blurted out with pure fear etched deep upon my face. "What's this all about Miss Seon? Please calm yourself and explain." Said Alastair in a shocked tone I'd never heard before. I took a few deep breaths before speaking again. "I found a batallion of Stevkan's forces in the woods. Their leader said they have orders to attack the party and kill all save Wolf. You they are too capture alive Wolf." Alastair looked frightened beyond belief when Wolf suddenly burst out in laughter. "Well well, it seems Stevkan has finally made his intention known thankfully they weren't able to capture you though Miss Seon. Now, we must decide our course of action. Do we lead them into an ambush or shall you have us take them out now Al?" He said completely unphased by this news. Alastair grinned "You already have a plan don't you Wolf?"  Nodding Wolve's-Claw said in a commanding voice "We know they plan to attack during the party so simply have two parties instead of one. The first will have you Al, myself, Dr. Seon as well to seem like its real and numerous soldiers instead of the guests will await the ambushing combatants. Then the second party which we will hold after the first will be the real party and to explain the days events. I do suggest we invite all the townsfolk to avoid any civilian casualties though. However if you wish we could simply ride out now myself with a small number of men to wipe them out. Which shall it be Al?" Alastair thought the strategies over before realizing that there were far less chances of any of Stevkan's forces escaping afterwards during the party scheme and agreed to the ploy. "Very well. I shall make the preparations while you two get ready for the party. See you later my friends." Said Wolve's-Claw in a very calm tone. I too frightened to relax looked to Alastair "Lord Alastair do you think Wolf could be captured or killed tonight?"
  I asked as I looked to Alastair. He just looked me in the eyes and said with a smile "Miss Seon please call me Alastair as we need not use titles between friends. I know Wolf far too well to think anyone but Stevkan himself could hope to best him in battle no matter the odds he won't lose while we need his aid. So please don't worry yourself about his safety. Besides you're here in case anting does go wrong so we know you could save him regardless the injury. Did he ever tell you the tale of how I became King?" I was thrown off by the sudden query but I  answered him. "Yes he did so not long after we came here those five years past. I couldn't believe a warrior of such legendary feats was so jovial and gentle. Alastair can you tell me did he ever say how he obtained this strength of his?" Alastair thought to a moment before saying "No and every time I ask he always laughs saying it is his honor that gave him that unimaginable might. But in my gut I don't think even he truly knows that answer. Well, I better go make preparations for the party or should I say parties. I'll see you there Miss Seon."  With that he left and I went on my way to try and find Wolve's-Claw.
