struggling Joshaya

Part 21

Few weeks later:

*MAYA*:

After few days everyone knew about our baby. We told everyone at family dinner night. Shawn was shocked and I saw the side of Cory I hadn't seen. When we told him, he startes jumping up and down. He even cried. It all stoped when Riley and Lucas anounced that they are pregnant too. I was happy that we get to do this together. But... Cory went from happy to angry. I think it was shock. He turned to Lucas and said...

-"I don't like you"
-"You do. You have to admit that" Lucas answered...
-"I do not wish to" He snapped and went to his room.

Everything turned out ok. We all loughed. Topanga treated us with amazing cake.

-"So. How far a long are you?" Riley asked...
-"Well. I went to doctors last week, and this week is my 17 week of pregnancy" I answered...
-"Well we went to doctors yesterday. And we are 12 weeks pregnant!" She said and got very excited...
-"I am so happy for you guys"

Few minutes later Josh put his arms around me...

-"So. You ready to go home?" Josh asked...
-"Yeah. I am tired. And Eliot allready fell asleep in his carseat" I said when I turned to face Josh...
-"Ok. Than lets go"

We left. Josh carried Eliot slowly and carfuly so that he wouldn't wake up.

We got home and put Eliot in his crib. I went to bedroom to go to bed. Josh sat in kitchen and ate one more peac of cake that Topanga gave us. So while he was doing that I decided to take a bath...

I took a hot bubble bath. When I got out of bath Josh was allready in bed. I laid down with him and tried to fall asleep.
Few hours ago I was awake..

-"Ouch" I said as I was moving around in pain...
-"Mhh. What's wrong?" Josh asked...
-"No nothing. Sorry that I woke you up. I just feel uncomfortable. My stomic hurts" I said...
-"Are you sure it's nothing?" He asked...
-"Yeah. It's probably just baby pushing on my blader" I said "I'll go to toilet" I said as I got out of bed...

I felt pain and pressure in my belly. I went to toilet...

-"JOSH!" I screamed from bathroom...
-"What?" He said as he ran in to bathroom...
-"I am bleeding. Josh something is wrong" I started to cry...
-"Ok. If you can, get up and get dressed. I will call Cory and Topanga to come over to watch Eliot" he said...
-"Ok. Everything is gonna be ok" I tried to calm myselve down...

I got up and went to bedroom. Opened my dresser and pulled out some baggy sweatpants. Josh came back in the room and said that Topanga and Cory are on theyr way...

-"Ok. Ok. Uuu. That hurts. We should probably call the hospital and tell them tgat we are coming" I said while breathing throu pain...
-"Yeah ok. Sit down on bed."

Few minutes later I heard Cory and Topanga enter our apartment. Topanga went in to our bedroom

-"Maya. How are you feeling?" She asked woried...
-"Not good. I am bleeding and my stomic hurts. I am afraid. I don't want to lose the baby" I started to cry...
-"Everything is gonna be ok. You are strong. And the baby is gonna be fine" she said...

Topanga helped me get up. We walked in livingroom. Josh was showing Cory where everything was for Eliot. He ran to me and took my other hand.

-"It hurts to walk" I said in pain...
-"I will carie you" Josh said...
-"No no. It's o-" I started but Josh picked me up...
-"Topanga help me with door" he said...

We got to hospital. The doctor was allready waiting for us. They took me in to surgery...

An hour later:

*RILEY*:

We got the call from Josh and went straight to hospital. When we got there he was sitting misirble in the waitingroom.

-"Josh. How is she?" I asked...
-"I don't know. They took her in an hour ago. Noone has said anything" he started to cry...
-"Everything is gonna be ok" I tried to calm him down...
-"Riley I need her to be ok. I need her to be fine" Josh said and grabbed my hand...

An hour later:

We were sitting in waiting room when doctor came up to us.

-"Him are you Mayas family?" He asked...
-"Yes. How is she?" I asked...
-"She is fine, but we couldn't save the baby. She lost a lot of blood. The baby was to small" he said "I am sorry! Do you want me to tell her?" He asked...
-"Oh my god. Amm thank you, but no. I will talk to her. Can I go in?" Josh spoke...
-"Yes. I will show you where"

They walked off. We saw where the Mayas room was. We were sitting outside...

*JOSH*:

I walked in her room. She was still sleeping. I sat next to her bed and started to touch her face. Few minutes later she woke up

-"Hi gorgeous" I said softly...
-"Hi" she said quietly...
-"I need to tell you something. You lost a lot if blood. And the baby didn't survive. It was too small" I said while grabbing her hand and crying...
-"No. No." She said and bursted in to tears...

*RILEY*

I turned to look at them thrue window when I saw bouth of them crying. Few minutes later Maya pulled away from theyr grip. I didn't hear what they said, but few seconds after that Josh stormed out of room...

-"What's wrong?" Lucas asked as soon ans Josh left Mayas room...
-"Nothing" he said and stormed out...

I walked in her room. She saw me and started to cry harder. She put her hand out fir me to grab it....

-"Oh Maya. I am so sorry" I started to cry...
-"Can you please make sure that when Eliot wakes up your parents bring him here?" She asked...
-"Yeah of course" I answered...
-"Because I can't lose him. I can't lose bouth of my babys. I can't" she stopped talking when tears started to slip in her moth...

I pulled her in hug. I laid next to her in bed and held her tight...

-"Maya, why did Josh storm out like that?" I asked...
-"I don't want to talk about it. Not now" she said...
