As soon as Netero came down from the blimp, Menchi asked for forgiveness, and decided to remake her part of the exam.
She then asked Netero to bring them to Mount. Split-in-Half for the retake of the second stage.
When they go to the new exam sight all the applications looked down into the canyon.
"This is it, take a good look at what's down there it's-" Menchi said.
"Yay! It's this place again! I'm going first sis! Weeeee!" Suzume said as she jumped.
All the other applicants rushed towards her and started yelling.
Kurapika were speechless. The girl, his own little sister, who always stuttered, just JUMPED down a canyon for gods sake!
Leorio, on the -lamer- other hand, just fainted a little bit before running to the eage yelling how much of an idiotic brat she was, and wispered how much he was going to miss her.
"Ahem!" Menchi said " Don't worry, she knows what's she doing! As I was saying, you have to jump down a grab one of those spider egale eggs from their nest."
The second she finished that sentence Suzume was sent flying back up with an egg in her arms.
"Weeeee! Catch meeeeeee!" She yelled as she started to fall back down.
Without thinking Killua jumped to the rescue. Catching her in mid-air and returning like he hadn't jumped 6 times his hight to catch a girl.
"That looked like souch fun! Wait are you ok?"
"Yep I'm fine."
After he safely put her back onto solid ground, Kurapika started lectureing her to be more careful, or at least think about the state of mind of others.
After that, Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio jumped into the canyon to get the egg. With Gon and Killua both yelling how much they waited for something fun to happen.
Half the applications were to afraid to jump so they were disqualified from the Hunter exam. That brought an end to the second stage of the exam..
