Out On The Sea ~Chapter 1~

Craig's POV

I had stood on the dock, looking up at the boat. I let a small smile brush over my lips as I looked at it proudly. "Are you done fawning over my boat?! We're ready to go!" I heard a voice shout. I groan, rolling my blue eyes that seemingly matched with the blue ocean

I step into the boat, it was large enough to fit me, Clyde and Token. "God you're acting like you're the one who bought it" I heard the brunette tease. I simply growled at him, flipping it off. Okay, so I'll admit, it was Token's. We had the idea to set sail for a few months after high school had finished and Token's parents loaned us enough money to buy a decent boat

The boat was almost a yacht but not quite because his parents wouldn't give us enough money for it. I personally didn't mind the size of it though. It had been my dream to at least go out on the ocean once. I look to see the darker skinned boy untie the boat from the dock

Anddd we were off.

I sat at the front, gazing into the almost clear ocean. I saw the light colored sand and rocks as we were still in the slightly shallow end. After about ten minutes, still looking in amusement at the oceans floor, I started seeing arrays of coral and fish. I saw a bright green and yellow figure speed by. I looked confused what was that?.. I questioned myself

I could've swore it was a human... but with a tail? I shook the thought from my mind and wandered up to the other two, who were causally sitting down admiring the view

I watched as the sun set, it seemed as if it were taking forever out in the water. The sky soon afterwards went pitch black, only lit by the slim moon and the stars that scarred across the sky, dazzling it. I looked to see if the other two were up, which they weren't.

I looked into the water, which the moon reflected off of. I saw the same stroke of green and blonde I saw earlier, but it was slower. I squinted, trying to tell if my eyes were just playing a trick on me.

I decided, it was warm enough, so I went and got changed into my swimsuit and drove into the icy water. I jolted up in shock as I made contact with it, but I was determined to figure out what this goddamn creature was.

Hi! Okay so I've been thinking about a mermaid AU for these two because I haven't really seen any on here. If I'm copying somebody, please tell me and I'll immediately take the story down. Sorry that it's so short jckfkdkrkrkrkfmf
