Panicking ~Chapter 8~

Tweek's POV

I paced back and forth, Kenny and Butters's gazes following after me. "W-why did I do that?!" I exclaimed nervously, my face feeling as if it were on fire. Kenny sighed calmly in annoyance "For the millionth time Tweek, what happened?" The dirty blonde asked, quirking one of his eyebrows. I stopped for a moment, thinking if I should tell him or not.

Knowing how nosy he was, I figured he would keep asking. But what if he starts telling everyone? I can't imagine what would happen if the news spread to a very.. overweight to be nice, merman named Cartman. I would never hear the end of it afterwards. Deciding not to tell him, I started pacing once again. I tugged at my hair in worry. Why the hell did I just stay there like an idiot?!

Butters approached me slowly, gripping his small hands on my shoulders surprisingly firmly. He looked me sternly in the eyes "What happened?" He asked me worriedly, his soft blue eyes looking concerned.

I sighed in defeat, my hands slowly lowering from my head. "T-that human Craig,,, um,," I stopped for a moment, trying to figure out how to say it. The two stared at me firmly, waiting for me to explain myself. "He k-kinda uh,, kissed? Me?" I said, wincing afterwards to avoid their backlash.

Butters's eyes lit up immediately, a huge smile on his face "R-really? Well that's great news! Right?" He asked, tilting his head like Craig did beforehand. Meanwhile Kenny was just smirking then swam off without a word. The pale haired blonde's head turned in Kenny's direction. "W-where's he going?" I asked worriedly, avoiding his question.

He shrugged and looked back at me, still expecting my answer. "W-well.." i gulped, trying to process my answer. It was simple anyway, he didn't even kiss me on the lips or anything.. just my forehead. "I-I guess it was good news" I mumbled. I could still feel Butters's bright gaze locked on me as I averted eye contact. "So.. are you going to meet with him tonight?" He asked after a few moments of silence.

I stayed silent, not even knowing if me and the jet-black haired boy were going to meet again. "I-I don't know" I said finally.

Craig's POV

"Why do you wanna stay longer in the first place, Craig?" Token asked, clearly not having it. I rolled my eyes "For the last time, I just like it out here" I said a little too defensively. Clyde's eyes lit up as he heard my defensive tone "Ooo Craigy has a crush on one of the mermaids" he teased childishly.

I flipped them both off and went back to the platform, rethinking my actions from earlier. I rested my head on the edge, my face turning red at the thought. Why did I even do that? If anything Tweek is probably freaking out because I did. I heard splashing and lifted my head to see the one and only Kenny.

"So, why'd you do it?~" Kenny said slyly, quirking one of his eyebrows as he looked at me, waiting for an answer. I groaned in annoyance "Do what?" I asked in my usual monotone voice. "Why the hell did you kiss Tweek?" He asked.

He didn't seem angry which honestly was relieving but it didn't help any. "I don't know" I said, dragging out the last part of the sentence. "Tweek is freaking out to Butters but he didn't seem upset so you're fine." The blonde said, the tip of his fin poking out of the clear blue water.

I quietly sighed in relief, Kenny loudly smirking in reply. "He's also flipping out on whether or not you two wanna meet tonight or something" he told me, eerily calm. "You know, you are extremely fucking noisy" I bluntly replied with, blinking calmly. "You are being extremely negative Craig" he said in a snarky tone.

I watched as he slipped into the water, flipping me off as he did so. I groaned tiredly, wanting to go back to bed.
