Craig's POV
I woke up early the next morning, thinking about Tweek. Why was I so interested in him? I felt my face heat up just thinking about him. I sat up from my air mattress, cuffing my hands and resting my blushing face in them. I sighed in annoyance at myself before getting up and dressed.
I wore a simple black shirt with an alien that had words on it that said 'I want to believe' and shorts. I wasn't looking forward to the day where we had to go back to South Park, although it wasn't for about a month. Token seemed fed up with me and Clyde, still refusing to believe our stories, despite the fact that he even talked to Kenny and Butters.
I walked out of the small room, going to the edge of the boat. I slouched down into a sitting position, staring into the clear water. I spaced off, thinking about the night before. Why did I leave so early? I knew Clyde and Token would be suspicious of me disappearing so often and I didn't want to hear them going on about how I keep leaving.
My thoughts soon drifted to the crazy haired blonde. His green and brown gradient like eyes with small green specks, his pale, lightly freckled skin.. I snapped myself from the thoughts, blinking rapidly. I gazed back into the water, seeing a flash of neon orange. My first thought was immediately 'god damn it Kenny'.
As if he heard my thoughts, he splashed out of the water, propping himself beside me. He smirked cockily "Didn't miss me?" He snickered. I rolled my eyes "what do you want?" I asked in return. He chuckled "Can't I just come over and say hi?" He asked innocently. I simply glared at him "No." I replied.
He mockingly raised his arms and hands up in defeat. "Alright alright, you got me. I wanted to ask how things were going with Tweek. I didn't see him in the village last night and I saw you two together" he said matter-of-fact like. I shrugged "he's nice I guess" I muttered in reply. He smirked once more "I don't believe that, what do you really think about the spaz" he chuckled, his tail waving in the air.
I felt my face heat up once again. He clearly noticed and commented "are you seriously that embarrassed? Damn, you have it bad for him" he said, obviously amused. "No I don't!" I said, a little too defensive. His sharp sky blue eyes widened. "Wow. Alrighty, I'll leave you alone lover boy" he said calmly. He slipped himself back into the water and swam off.
I smacked my head onto the boat in annoyance at myself. I lifted my head after a few moments, rubbing my forehead that now had a red mark. I heard a creak and saw the slightly chubby brunette awake, finally. "Why are you up so early?.." Clyde whined, obviously hardly awake.
I shrugged, his mouth opening wide in a yawn. "Who were you talking to?" He asked, starting to realize where he was. "Kenny" I replied, my fingers mindlessly tapping on the side of the boat. He blinked, fully opening his dark brown eyes. "It seems like you talk with him more than you talk with me and Token" he teased.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Kenny's noisy anyway" I told him. He chuckled teasingly "Alright. I'm going to get Token up so we can get moving" he said, walking off. Token had stopped the boat every night once he went to sleep, which was good for me so I didn't have to get on or off when going to talk to Tweek.
My thoughts started to wander once more. I honestly hoped that the jittery blonde haired merman would come up to the boat again. He seemed so calm when I had talked to him last night, which according to Kenny, was really rare.
I propped my arms on the side of the boat, resting my chin in the palm of my cupped hands. I jerked back onto the floor of the boat, smacking my head on the ground. I groaned in pain, my eyes tightly sealed. I slowly blinked my eyes open after a few moments of laying on the ground.
I stood up, grunting in pain again. "Thanks a lot, Token!" I hollered in annoyance. I looked back over the side of the boat, seeing something moving along side the boat. I squinted my eyes, trying to get a better look of what it was. A familiar flash of green and yellow was in the water, making my cheeks heat up in an instant.
Token must've heard me yell at him because I felt the boat starting to slow down. I crouched down by the side of the boat, reaching my arm down over the side. I watched as the merman slowly rose to the surface, his arm extended as well. His soft finger tips touched mine.
I smiled softly at him, his green and brown eyes wide. "H-hey.." he mumbled shyly. "Hey" I replied, I could see his pale skin started to turn pink. I pulled my arm away from his after a few moments of silence. "Can you erm.." he started, his gaze averted from mine. I tilted my head in confusion, waiting for him to finish his sentence.
"Could you meet me again.. tonight?" He asked hesitantly, his hands fidgeting nervously. I nodded slowly "Y-yeah" I told him calmly, not wanting to freak him out. He looked back at me, his face still bright pink. We stared at each other for a few more moments in silence. Hesitantly, I leaned down to his face and planted a soft kiss on his forehead before standing up and walking to Clyde and Token.
I glanced back at Tweek, whose face was cherry red now. I flashed him a small smile before starting to talk to Clyde and Token about wanting to stay longer.
