It's been two weeks, two weeks since I left. Ashton came back the day after and proposed, obviously I said yes. "Jess, where's my vail? And my dress oh god my dress," I said, stumbling around the house, "dress is in moms closet and your vail's here." She called, I ran into the living room, swooped up the vail and ran to my moms room, I grabbed the dress and ran back downstairs, I slipped into the dress and straightened it out, "want me to tie it?" Jess asked, I nodded quick and she laced it up.

"You look beautiful," she said as I had completed my look. "Jess?" I asked, she rushed around finding things, "phone, keys." She groaned, I laughed and stopped her. "Jess?" I said again, "what?" She asked as she turned to me, "will you be my maid of honour?" I said, with a smile. "Of course!!!" She squealed and hugged me, "I love you." I whispered into her shoulder.

"Luke?" I said as I ran into the hut. "Oh, babe you look amazing." He replied, "thanks but. You know how my dad died the month before I moved here?" I asked, he nodded sharp and stiffened, "well. He's not gonna be here today, so. Will you give me away?" I asked, he smiled and hugged me. "Of course," he whispered.

We were on our way to the church, riding in a small car. "Your mom, asked me to give this to you, it's a letter, from your dad." Luke said as we were fidgeting. "You read it," I replied, sniffling.

"Dear Mia,

If you are reading this, it must be your wedding day. If it isn't, tell your mother she's a silly old woman and cannot be trusted. But I never imagined, in a million years, I wouldn't be there on your special day. I'm so sorry I couldn't be here today darling, not in body, anyways. But I will always be here in spirit. And whenever you need me, please do not hesitate to call for me, I'll always be listening. I'm not gonna lie to you, babe. When you were born, I was the happiest person alive. I cried, so much. I'm always here, Mia. Because you'll never stop being my beautiful baby girl.

Have a wonderful day, my gorgeous girl. Whoever he is, the man you are marrying, he's the luckiest man, alive. Tell him to take care of my beautiful daughter.

Love you always,

Dad xxx"

Luke read it so perfectly. I smiled and held the letter firm in my hand, I kissed the opening lightly, "I love you." I whispered.

I got out the car and ran up to the doors of the church, already being late and walked in. I took a quick breath and they signalled we were ready.

"We'll do it all

Everything

On our own

We don't need

Anything

Or anyone

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know

How to say

How I feel

Those three words

Are said too much

They're not enough

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time

Chasing cars

Around our heads

I need your grace

To remind me

To find my own

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am

All that I ever was

Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where

Confused about how as well

Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

The song played throughout the whole church. I smiled linking Luke's arm and walking down the isle, everyone turned and smiled, but I was only focused on one smiling face. As we got to ashton, Luke kissed my head, and handed my hand over to Ashton's. I smiled to him and stepped onto the podium above us.

"You look beautiful," ashton said as we were waiting for everyone to quite down. I smiled and ashton tapped his glass, "can I have your attention?" He asked, everyone settled and turned to face Ashton, "okay? I don't really know what to say on these things, but I'll try. When I first met Mia, everyone told me it wasn't going to work. They told me, you'll know when you find the one. And I told them, how? But when I met Mia, I knew. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life married to this beautiful girl. And all I can say is, your gorgeous, your funny, your sweet. I love you baby, and that's just the way it is."

After the wedding, me and Ashton were sat on my bed, just smiling at each other, "Mrs. Irwin, wow this year has gone by so quick," he said. I smiled and nodded, "your so sweet." I replied and kissed his nose.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you." I replied.
