" If you need any help just mind link me, Ok?" Cayden said as we made our way downstairs for breakfast. He was telling me what to do. " It's not too late to just stay back with Jay, you know. I don't want you to get hurt." He has been trying to get me to change my mind about going to fight. I of course rejected the offer.

"Cayden, I'll do fine don't worry about me" I say while grabbing a croissant. He sighs but nods unwillingly. We had one hour left before we had to head out. We were just gonna use it to hang out.

" 23,890 BOTTLES OF MILK ON THE WALL 23,890 BOTTLES OF MILK-" Jay screamed while running down the stairs with 2 gallons of milk in her hands."Shut up!!" Cayden interrupted her. Damn, I still had that little headache from last night. I winced and held my head.

Cayden smirked. " Nobody told you two to go to that party anyways." He said. I groaned and mentally thanked him when he handed me the advil bottle. "Don't listen to that assplug Riley, the party rocked! They're just jealous they didn't get to go." Jay said reassuringly.

She jumped onto my back and slapped my thigh. "Giddy up horsey!!!" She yelled. I laughed and ran out of the kitchen. "To my room!!" I ran up the stairs to Jay and Dillon's room and stopped when we were in front of the door. Jay jumped off my back and opened the door.

" So you're telling me that you are gonna fight? Are you 'outa your mind!?!??"

" Hey, I'm strong. And you know that I can kick some ass. Please help me sneak out, please Riley? I wanna have fun. I can't be living under Dillon's rules forever...." She said with a pouty face.

" UGGGHHHH, fine...I guess I can find some way to sneak out..."

She squealed. "Thank you, thank you thank you!!"

Everyone already left. They were going to surprise attack the rogues. I told Cayden that I forgot something. And that something was Jay. I ran into the house and found Jay already there ready to fight. " Come on, they probably already started by now" I urged, she nodded.

We ran out of the house I could smell blood so I was positive they started. Sure enough when we got there, there were limp bodies laying on the ground with puddles of blood surrounding them, most of them were rogues. A wolf came flying at Jay, she didn't notice so I stepped in and flung him to a tree. Jay thanked me and ran off to cause trouble.

I shifted and ran off further to fight. O saw Cayden's huge black wolf fighting against a rogue half the size of Cayden's wolf. I growled as I was bit in the ankle but not too hard. I whipped around and saw a rogue about my size. He got in a position ready to attack. I lunged at him but he dodged it easily. I skidded to a stop in the dirt and turned around, this time he wasn't lucky.

I scratched his chest with my paw really deep. He howled in pain but continued anyway. I was getting bored so I aimed at his neck and tackled him to the ground. I took a huge chunk from his neck, him squirming under me. I bit again but deeper.

I wasn't too happy with the sour, bitter metallic taste of rogue blood. But I was happy when the rogue stopped squirming and lay still. I turned around to find a new victim but I found Destiny instead. She was in the trees, motioning with her finger to come over.

This could be when I finish her off. I thought to myself while walking over to me. When I was in the trees she began speaking. "I have answers to the day your parents died. I think you want them. Shift and I will tell you" she smirked. I shifted and covered my naked body with my hands.

" Give the girl some clothes!" Destiny screamed. Seth and Derrick came out of nowhere and gave me and over sized shirt. Derrick looked horrible. He had two black eyes and 3 purple and green bruises covering his face. I just had to smirk looking at his condition. He scowled at and went back into the trees with Seth.

" Your mother was a beautiful women I got to admit. My mom was a vampire and my dad was a werewolf. They were mates, it took my mom a couple of months to finally accept my dad for him but she did accept him. And then they had me. My dad was part of your pack so he had me and my mom move in, there I met your dad. He was handsome and soon I learned to love him, and he loved me too. He said he will be with me forever and that we would run away and get married and have children. But after a while he started sneaking off, and he started drifting away from me. He seemed disgusted to even kiss me or be near me. One night I followed him and I found out that he had found his mate. Your mom." Destiny had tears rolling down her face and almost looked like it pained her to talk about this.

Then she continued. " Your father said that he snuck off because he didn't want to hurt me. So he broke it off with me and acted like I didn't exist. My dad was having his own problems and because of his depression, he killed my mom. Soon after he died of age. By then, Cayden was born. I watched him grow up, and I sometimes babysat him. Then you were born and it broke my heart to know that your dad really didn't care about me."

She was crying so bad she was wheezing but she went on anyways. " One night I went for a walk and bumped into a rogue. He offered me the opportunity to join his pack of rogues, I denied it but we made a deal, they would attack the pack and kill your parents. So they did that and we kept in touch after that. When Cayden finally turned 19, I started developing feelings for him. I was worried he would fall for you instead but at the time it seemed like he didn't with all the bullying. So we started dating and I got into the bullying too because hurting you felt like I was hurting your mother. Everything was perfect even though Cayden cheated on me every day. I had a way from preventing Cayden to meet his mate. But his mate was in this pack. You. I was hoping you. would reject him which you did, but then everyone seemed nicer to you and Cayden had the look of love in his eyes. But not for me, you. I again was heartbroken when I found out that you accepted Cayden. You like your mother took away yet another person I loved. So the night of the party, I threatened Cayden. I heard you coming so I made him kiss me. But he kicked me out of the pack."

" I made him drop everything with you. But on one of my surprise visits you got in the middle of it so I had no choice but to kidnap you. My pack suggested that we use you as bait for Cayden after we killed him then we kill you but they surprised us that night. Landon and I ran off and we gathered up rogues and made a whole new pack. And now here we are." She said. Just as she finished, Cayden came running into the woods in a pair of basketball shorts only with a look of panic in his eyes.

Once they landed on me, he calmed down but when he saw Destiny standing arms length of me, he pulled me to him and got in front of me. "You are not gonna hurt her." He said with a hint of possesiveness in his voice. "Don't worry, I need a word with Riley" she said, a new batch of tears spilling from her eyes.

Cayden was about to say no but I held up my hand telling him it was OK. " You sure?" He asked. I nodded. He gave me one last look and reluctantly left. " Riley I know I said all these things like "ripping you up to shreds" but I now notice that it's not worth it. I should not interfere with the love of mates. " I know that sorry won't ever fix your losses but that is all I have to give. I'm so sorry" She whispered the last part.

Seth and Derrick came out of the trees. I was confused at first but then knew what was happening. "NO NO!!!!" I screamed in horror as they ripped her head off. Cayden came running back into the woods as my knees gave out from under me and I fell to the soft dirt. A couple of Pack members went running after Seth and Derrick.

Cayden cradled me in his arms as I cried.

Sure she was evil and did a lot of bad stuff she regrets,but she did not deserve to die.

What surprised me was that I wasn't even mad at her for my parent's death, she just wanted a chance at love.

That image of her head lying next to her body was still stuck inside my head.

I was currently in my room. Cayden refused to leave my side. I was trying to sleep but every time I fell asleep, I would wake up 1 hour later screaming in a puddle of sweat.

Tears spilled down my cheeks like waterfalls as I woke up myself and Cayden once again for the 5th time."Shh, it's OK. From now on everything is going to be OK. I promise."
