the phone call

Third person's pov: Elizabeth stood in front of her mirror looking at herself as she practiced what she would say to Zach.

"Hey sorry my cancer might've come back so I panicked and left." Liz said before groaning.

"No, I can't say that!" She exclaimed to herself.

"My cancer might be back so a ran for the hills." She said.

She sighed and shook her head.

"Just call him." She said to herself.

She shakily picked up her phone and clicked on Zach's contact. She stared at call button in hesitation.

"You can do this." She mumbled under her breath before pressing the call button and bringing the phone up to her ear.

Over a thousand miles away, Zach is panicking and worrying what he could've possibly done wrong to make Liz leave him once again. His phone rings startling him and he quickly grabbing it. He was hoping that it was Liz calling and to surprise it actually was her calling him.

"Hello?" Zach said frantically.

"Hey." Liz said softly.

"Liz, where are you? What did I do? Why'd you leave? Did I mess up? Is there anyway u can fix whatever I did? Please come back!" Zach begged as he rambled.

"It's not you, I-I didn't leave because of you." She said slightly stuttering due to nerves.

"Then why'd you leave me?" He whimpered.

"I-I had to." She said as tears began to well up.

"Where are you?" He asked trying his best not to cry.

"I went back home." She said.

"I'll come get you and we can talk." He said.

"No, Zach I'm home in London." She said emphasizing home.

"Oh." He said as a tear ran down his cheek.

She took a deep breath as tears began to now spill from her eyes.

"Zach, I want you to know that I didn't leave because of you," Liz paused. "I left because well I-I rather not say until I know for sure."

"E, please just tell me why you left." Zach begged. "Please."

She gulped and tried to choke back a sob.

"M-my c-cancer might b-be b-back." She said, the sob escaping her throat.

Zach's heart dropped.

He couldn't believe there's a chance that Liz had cancer once again.

He wanted to do nothing more than just embrace the only girl he considers the love of his life, but he knew he couldn't because she was all the way in London.

"I'm coming to London." Zach said ending the call before Elizabeth could protest against him coming.

I miss the boys and keep watching the videos I took at the concert.
Buttt I'm seeing them again in ten days so I'm trying not to be too sad.
