I think I fell for my best friend

Chapter 2

As the night went on everything seemed normal. Me and Nichole even managed to put ourselves on drink refill duty so we could watch the show. Then during intermission I started talking to the new guy a little bit and found out his name was John.

He started asking me questions about classes and what to expect during them.

"They're going to start easy on you don't worry. Just wear something comfortable that you can easily move in." I said trying to easy the anxiety I could hear rising in his voice. After that we just talked and he showed me some card tricks that honestly blew my mind. And after about the 20th time I burst out laughing I realize that I'm completely comfortable around him. I'm not acting like my normal awkward self, like I usually do around new people.

What is it about him? Why am I not shying away. How did I manage to get so comfortable around him so easily. This is really weird, I'm not usually like this around new people especially a boy. What the hell is going on! I thought.

The night finally came to a close and we exchanged Instagrams and went about our lives like it was nothing. After our conversation I hadn't really thought anymore into it.

The car ride home was again just like every other. Except I wasn't singing to the music as much, but that's just because I was really exhausted from working all night. I got home showered and got ready for bed. Then as soon as I sat down on my white sheets my phone buzzed. I picked it up to see I had gotten a dm from John.

"Sorry to bother you but i wanted to say thank you for your help today, I volunteer there to help Walter out and to help my little sister get discounted lessons because she's really passionate about it. Its all new and different but fun and exciting. Just wanted to say thanks."-John

"Oh no problem and thank you for helping out with the nutcracker and other things because that studio is like my home and having extra help really takes a lot of stress off our shoulders"-me

"I'm good at fixing things, I'm fairly tall and fairly strong so I think it would be wrong to not do my part to help such an amazing program out as much as possible. I mean I enjoy acting but normally just as a street magician so I'm a little nervous because I've never danced before besides a few weeks of basic ballet"- John

"Lol it will be fine I've actually only been dancing like with a teacher for 4 years and I made the dance company my second year at the studio so with a lot of work you could be really good in no time and it really is an amazing community every treats everyone like family and there's never a dull moment"-me

Then after the basic introductions we moved on to future goals and friends, life problems, family, favorite movies, everything. We talked back and forth until about 4am that night just getting to know each other. By the end I could safely call John one of my best friends.

Hey it's Kayla this chapter is longer like I promised. And again I'm sorry if it's boring at first but just stick with me and I promise it will be worth it. I also want to apologize for taking so long to update but I was on a trip which ended up giving me inspiration on how I want to end this story.
