Chapter 10: Back In Time

"Rai how are you still conscious?" I asked him panicking.

"Cav would have been too if he hadn't forgotten to wear his special bracelet. Mom gave us both special bracelets in order to resist magic attacks from anyone in the moon kingdom. I can't believe your the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess," Rai said in awe and explanation.

"Look Rai you can't tell anyone. For now I just want to protect my children, and that can't happen if people know who they are. As the royals of the entire moon kingdom not just the werewolves, many people will try to harm them. Please just keep it a secret until they can protect themselves," I begged him.

"Alright, but when are you going to stop hiding your bond with your mate. I've noticed every time you see a mated couple you get a sad expression on your face. You can't keep denying your bond with him whoever he is," Rai said.

"Does that mean you have no idea who my mate is?" I asked him.

"None at all I just saw your mark flickering in and out, but from your question that means I have to have met your mate at least once."

"Perhaps you have. Look Rai don't say anything," I said quickly noticing that everyone was starting to wake up.

"Wait how are we going to explain everyone being unconscious?" Rai asked panicking.

"Just leave that to me," I said shooing him away.

"Alpha what's going on? Are you alright?" Ben asked panicking.

"I'm fine. I guess the transfer went a little haywire since my kids shifted early making the ancients confused on why two potential Alpha's of our bloodline are in the clearing," I said in explanation.

"She's probably right Ben. No Alpha has ever done the ceremony of transfer when they had an heir who was already a wolf," my dad agreed.

"Alright, but just in case we're wrong we should have Cav move in with her as protection," Ben suggested, "after all as her Beta it is his job to protect her."

"I have to agree with Ben dear," my mom added in.

"Do I get no say in this?" I asked angrily.

"Look sweetie without your mate with you you're vulnerable to attacks. We just think Cav could help you protect the kids. As your heirs they might be targeted since everyone assumes your mates dead they'll think it's impossible for you to have more heirs with the wolf gene, and since your brother's a human we have no choice we need our Alpha secured or our pack will die," my mom said soothingly.

"My mate isn't dead and you know it mother. You heard my reasons for hiding the bond well my excuse anyway. I'm never going to accept my mate. Ever!" I growled at them.

"Why not sweetheart?" daddy asked concerned.

"Because my mate isn't exactly...... Never mind I don't need to explain myself to you anymore father. Now my kids and I are leaving for my home without Cavien I will not have him live in the same house as me because he will leave as soon as he finds his mate, and I don't want the quads attached to him," I growled before storming off the kids following in wolf form.

"Mom are you alright?" Cam asked me in a concerned voice as we walked home.

"I'm fine guys. Just a little tired," I said smiling weakly.

"Mom he's your mate isn't he?" Rian asked.

"Who?" I asked generally confused.

"Your Beta Cavien," he replied as if it was the easiest thing in the world to figure out.
