chapter 3

You stand alone on the now very dark stage staring into the distance like you had practiced

"Is it you?" you asked in whispered tone, you take a few hurried steps forward and then stopped, a shy smile painted across your face

"You're highness!" you curtsies deeply and look up at Arthur who made his way on stage you rise slowly and looks boldly at 'the prince'

"Do not be swayed by my pleasure at the sight of you, my lord. For though my farther, the duke, has promised you my hand, I cannot consent to be yours until the evil that stalks our land from highest hill to deepest dale is .... " you suddenly stop speaking and a look of stunned confusion replaced the boldness in your face

"...from highest hill to deepest dale..." your brow furrows in confusion, "damn!" you look up to see a disappointed Arthur.

"s-sorry" you say helplessly as you fumble through the pocket sized script in your hand

"(y/n) just leave it, love" Arthur whispered kindly trying to keep in the frustration

You sigh deeply and the lights turn to normal and the producer walked over to you

"(Y/N)!!! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO PRACTICE THAT LAST PART" he scolded you winced under his hash tone causing you to back up a little

"i-i-I'm s-sorry producer it won't happen again "you apologise in a squeaky voice and turned to grab your things but was caught by a hand grasping your wrist you look back seeing Ludwig, feli ,kiku, lovi...and the others

"Bella, you were amazing out there, ve!" Feli said lightly

"Yeah don't let him get you down" Kiku

"Listen just practice and you should be fine, try and think of a way to remember it like saying it to a potato." Ludwig smiled softly giving you minor shivers

You smiled back reassuringly "hey guys thank for the support I'm sure I'll nail it now" you gave a reassuring thumbs up and laughed slightly.

You turn to enter the hallway but are blocked off by something... Wait more like someone you turn your head to face Arthur who is standing in front of you

"Hey Ar-" he moves closer and reaches behind you .....

(a/n) hey just to let you guys know Arthur isn't saying anything cause he is so goddamn perfect, ha lol anyways you needed to go over the lines by yourself since you keep messing up the same part and Arthur already knows it so he doesn't have to go through it apart from the stage directions
